Overview:  Corryville Catholic is seeking a mission-driven Religion Teacher to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity, depending on the strengths and availability of the selected candidate. This individual will play a key role in supporting students’ spiritual development while fostering a deeper understanding of Catholic faith, values, and traditions in alignment with our school’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach religion classes to students in grades K–8 (or a subset, based on schedule and need)

  • Collaborate with the principal and other teachers to plan and support weekly prayer services and monthly Mass

  • Uphold all school policies and expectations for professional conduct and student engagement

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of Catholic teaching and tradition

  • Teaching license or appropriate catechetical certification preferred

  • Experience teaching or working with children in a faith-based setting

· Foster a data-informed culture where assessment results are routinely analyzed and used to guide the planning, design, and refinement of instructional practices to meet the diverse needs of all learners

· Monitor the grading and reporting methods used by teachers in measuring student achievement

· Evaluate student progress and work alongside counselors and the student success coordinator to develop and implement academic support frameworks

Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to support academic excellence
