School Administrative Assistant/Full-Time: St. Columban School seeks a person to serve as the School Administrative Assistant. This vital position supports the daily operations of the school office and is the assistant to the principal.
Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Managing new student registration
– Providing tours for prospective families
– Creating weekly newsletters
– Maintaining the school database
– Social media updates
– Processes purchase orders
– Handling routine parent calls
– Submitting EdChoice Scholarship applications
– Assisting with reports due to the archdiocese, state and other organizations
– Coordinating events (Open House, Back to School Kickoff)
An ideal candidate will be friendly, welcoming and organized. Candidates must have proficient keyboarding skills, knowledge of and skill in using personal computers and software programs, the ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters, the ability to relate to a variety of people and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, Google apps, Option C, Publisher and Canva is a preferred but not required.

The Social Services Advocate (SSA) is the primary contact person for those requesting services at the Neyer Outreach Center. The SSA will be cross-trained on all of our direct service programs, including Welcome Rooms, Call Center, Front Desk, and Choice Food Pantry. Engagement, assessment, eligibility determination, gathering documentation, and service delivery are key functions. The right candidate will have a heart for service, compassion for those we serve, and a willingness to serve in the area of most need. The team member must be able to build relationships with neighbors in need, using a strengths-based approach to help them recognize and utilize their personal strengths and resources. This team member must consistently model the mission and values of St. Vincent de Paul and adhere to SVDP’s policies and procedures to ensure program sustainability. The Director of Business Operations is a key member of the Family Leadership Team (FLT) and reports directly to the Pastor. This role is responsible for the effective administration and stewardship of the Family of Parishes’ (Family) physical, financial, and human resources, supporting the Pastor in his governance ministry. The Director ensures compliance with all Archdiocesan standards and regulatory requirements.
