The Blessed Trinity Family of Corpus Christi, St. John Neumann, and St. John the Baptist, Dry Ridge Parishes, Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a full time Associate Director of Youth Evangelization. Our youth today are being led astray by the broader culture. Many are left wandering, searching, and with low self-esteem, but we have the answer! Divine Truth and a relationship with our Lord are the only things that satisfies human longing. The Associate Director is an enthusiastic, self-starter who loves teaching, leading large and small groups, engaging with teens and sharing Christ with others.  This person accompanies youth, grades 6-12, and their families through a discipleship path, so that they encounter Jesus and become missionary disciples.

We are building a culture to fulfill a Catholic vision of work that nourishes and strengthens our personal relationship with Christ, so we can go out and lead others.  We offer Mass daily, 48 hours of Eucharistic Adoration every week, opportunities for prayer throughout the day in our chapel and a growing number of retreat opportunities. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading Sacramental Preparation for Confirmation
  • Planning & facilitating year-round evangelization initiatives to youth and their families
  • Coordinating programs with the Parish Family School
  • other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Complete and maintain SafeParish training and background check.
  • Be willing to attain a Professional Catechist with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Qualifications:

  • Strongly prefer a BA in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religion Education, or related field or commensurate ministry experience.
  • Must have a broad understanding of, and ability to articulate, Church teaching.
  • Must have a dedicated personal prayer life, be in love with our Lord in the Eucharist and actively living their Catholic Faith.

St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption Parish in Covington, Ky. invites qualified individuals to apply for the full-time position of Director of Maintenance. We require a motivated, personable self-starter who possesses practical maintenance and mechanical skills and abilities. Knowledge and/or experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical maintenance, painting, and general safety procedures are essential elements of the job. This position will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Cathedral Basilica and its grounds, the Cathedral Rectory, and the Cathedral Parish offices. In addition, this individual will serve a very necessary role as an additional ambassador to the many visitors the Cathedral Basilica welcomes on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate should be an inspirational leader with excellent relationship skills, and a strong vision for building community groups where people can get connected with one another and grow in an intentional way. The Director of Adult Discipleship should be a committed Catholic disciple with experience shepherding and developing small group ministries, comfortable and energetic in front of large groups of people, and must be able to recruit, train, care, and shepherd leaders. Our Lady of Light Family of Parishes strives to make heaven present here and now, by helping people walk with Jesus in their everyday life.  The Associate Director of High School Youth Evangelization (AD-HS) reports to the Managing Director of Evangelization and is a key member of the Youth Evangelization Team. The AD-HS accompanies youth, grades 9-12, and their families, through a discipleship path, so that they encounter Jesus and become missionary disciples.  The AD-HS is responsible for the overall running of the Life Teen program, supplemental programs and other opportunities for high school youth.

The AD-HS should be a committed Catholic disciple with experience in creating, adapting, and implementing content; comfortable and energetic in front of large groups of teens (and parents), and able to accompany youth and parents along their journey of discipleship; able to facilitate engaging small group discussion with teens; and comfortable with providing formation for adult volunteers.  This person should also be a team player who understands ministry in a large church context, a self-starter, reliable, has strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, and driven.  The AD-HS should be excited to join a growing Catholic community with a vibrant culture and eager live out our parish mission, vision, and youth discipleship pathway.

Spiritual Care Minister – Full-time, Exempt; weekend/evenings as needed

The Sisters of the Precious Blood are currently seeking a Spiritual Care Minister who would provide pastoral care and support for our retired Sisters residing at Salem Heights or other health centers.  Salem Heights is an independent living retirement community, located in Trotwood. The purpose of this position is to provide for the spiritual life of the Sisters in their retirement, allowing them to live fully their vowed, consecrated life. The Spiritual Care Minister works as a team member with the administrator of Salem Heights and the Health and Wellness Coordinator/Nurse Advocate.  Prior pastoral ministry, counseling and/or spiritual direction is preferred.  Being a Roman Catholic and a woman is required.
