The Director of Health Ministries serves St. Gregory the Great (IHM, Guardian Angels, Saint John Fisher parishes) by integrating pastoral care and healthcare knowledge/nursing skills into the promotion of spiritual and physical health and wellness for all parishioners. This position provides coordination and oversight to the many Health Ministry programs which offer direct and indirect services to support the spiritual and physical health and wellness of parishioners.

S/he collaborates with the Family Leadership Team and supports the pastor and other clergy in the ministries of sanctifying, teaching, and governing. S/he works with the team to carry out the Pathways Team recommendations put forth in the Beacons of Light guidelines.

The Director of Strategy & Communication works in close collaboration with the Leadership Team of the Center for the New Evangelization (CNE) to lead all efforts in communicating the mission, resources, activities and value of the CNE and help evaluate the strategy for advancing the New Evangelization across the Archdiocese of Cincinnati (AOC). The Director manages all communications projects, both print and digital, and works closely with the Office of Communications to ensure a united, on-brand message. The Director manages ongoing execution and evaluation of CNE programs and initiatives, and aids in project planning across the CNE. The Director supervises the CNE Administrative Assistant responsible for event hospitality and participates in/represents the CNE at various events from time-to-time.

The Director collaborates closely and congenially with the entire staff of the CNE and the Department of Communication & Evangelization, as well as other archdiocesan offices. The St. Henry Parishes are looking for a Director of Administration. This is a full-time, salaried position. The Director of Administration is a key member of the administrative staff and reports directly to the pastor. The Director is responsible for effective administration and stewardship of the physical, financial, and human resources of the Family of Parishes (Family), supporting the pastor in his ministry of governance. This position may require some evening/weekend work hours. Please note that this is a general overview of the Director of Administration position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the parish.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Payroll, bookkeeping, fundraising oversight
  • Establishes and reviews budget processes in collaboration with relevant staff, finance councils and other commissions.
  • Human resources, supervision and management of administrative staff and parish office
  • Provides oversight and implements systems for the proper management of parish records. This includes proper computer systems, training and maintenance.
  • Provides oversight and works with Facilities Manager to ensure maintenance and needed improvements to all real property of the parish.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Five to ten (5-10) years of business management experience required; Parish or non-profit experience preferred; MBA/MA preferred. Salary starting at $50,000.
