The Director of Adult Discipleship is a person who is passionate about making and maturing disciples by uniting a basic understanding of Church teaching with a great love for people at any step in their walk with Jesus.

The ideal candidate should be an inspirational leader with excellent relationship skills, and a strong vision for building community groups where people can get connected with one another and grow in an intentional way. The Director of Adult Discipleship should be a committed Catholic disciple with experience shepherding and developing small group ministries, comfortable and energetic in front of large groups of people, and must be able to recruit, train, care, and shepherd leaders. This person should also be a team player who understands ministry in a large church context, a self-starter, reliable, and driven who is excited to join a growing Catholic community with a vibrant culture. St. Mary’s Catholic Church is a vibrant parish rooted in our Catholic tradition and located within the city limits of Cincinnati, Ohio in Hyde Park.  At this time we are seeking a Director of Sacred Music to fill this position. The Director of Sacred Music will be part of a zealous staff leading people to holiness, through worship, truth, and beauty. The Director of Sacred Music is the organist as well as the choir director who is responsible for all aspects of the sacred music program including planning and providing music for weekend Masses, weekly school Masses, holy days, funerals, weddings, and other liturgical events. The ideal candidate should be proficient in choral conducting, organ, and Catholic liturgy. A Masters degree preferred, but not required.

The Our Lady of Light Family of Parishes which includes the Church of the Incarnation and St. Francis campuses, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who will oversee and supervise all aspects of maintenance for Our Lady of Light Family, including the maintenance and janitorial staff. This is a full-time position. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to 1) instructing and monitoring maintenance staff in general custodial tasks, 2) responsible for communication with appropriate persons, 3) performing as an operations technician, 4) purchasing supplies for maintenance as needed and 5) maintains open file of emergency systems. i.e. plumbing, electrical, fire, sewage, underground tanks, etc.

St. John the Baptist is seeking a full time BUSINESS MANAGER. The primary function of this position is as follows:

The Business Manager is an administrator in support of the Pastor’s responsibilities to the parish.  The administrator is a steward of the financial, personnel, and physical resources of the parish.

Major Responsibilities

  • Managing all aspects of the financial management of the parish, including the church, school, and miscellaneous other parish organizations
  • Leading the human resource function of the parish including hiring, personnel management, and supervision of various departmental employees
  • Managing all physical facilities of the church and school
  • Administering many different aspects of managing the parish on a day-to-day basis

Key Skill, Knowledge and/or Abilities

  • College degree desired and/or five to ten (5-10) years ministry experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Good quantitative analytical skills, including financial management
  • Excellent communication, organization, and facilitation skills
  • Comfortable with computer, including ability to manage online parish systems
  • Some experience with facilities management
  • Some supervisory experience
  • Leadership, facilitating and consulting skills
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends

St. Teresa of Avila Church is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Parish Secretary. This position is employed up to 40 Hours per week with some flexibility depending on the parish schedule and reports to the Pastor. Office Hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm.

The parish secretary will:
❖ Welcomes and directs visitors and parishioners
❖ Provide administrative, secretarial, and office support to the Pastor and Parish Staff
❖ Answers phone calls and forwards calls accordingly, forwards messages accurately
❖ Maintains a calendar of events, reserving needed space. Maintains monthly priest Mass schedule. Schedules Mass Intentions, weddings, baptisms, funerals. Maintains parish data system.

Qualifications:
❖ A practicing Catholic with knowledge of the Catholic faith
❖ Able to multitask
❖ Proficient in Microsoft Office and an ability to learn parish management software
❖ Must have a welcoming demeanor
❖ Have excellent language and communication skills
❖ Spanish communications skills are preferred

The Coordinator of RCIA provides coordination of the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults for all five churches in our family of parishes.  This position will work closely with Director of Evangelization to create methods of recruiting persons interested in exploring the Catholic Church, provide hospitality and welcoming to inquirers and support the program of full initiation into the Church.  The Coordinator of RCIA will work collaboratively with the priests, worship, and music personnel to ensure all rites and liturgies are planned and prepared.  This position is exclusively for adult initiation.
