The Northeast 3 Family of Parishes is seeking a practicing Catholic for a Coordinator of Communications position. This position is full-time with a regular but flexible schedule, working 40 hours per week. This position works on behalf of and supports the efforts of the Northeast 3 Family of Parishes and its ministries to develop and execute creative communication strategies and create seamless messaging across all communication mediums including: parish website, parish social media, print, email, graphic design, announcements, etc. — all while maintaining the “big picture” of the Catholic Church’s vision and mission. Position requirements: 1-3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Bachelors preferred in Communication, Marketing, Graphic Design, Media Informatics, or related field (please see attached Job Description).

St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church is currently seeking applicants for a full-time (35 hours) Administrative Assistant.

The person in this role will provide administrative support to the finance, communications and facilities staff.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Expectations: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of how the parish operates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database software and website applications
  • Ability to multi-task with various competing demands and numerous interruptions

  • Demonstrated initiative with a “can do” attitude to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability

We are looking to hire temporary help to cover the parish office hours while the current secretary is on leave until June.  Training for this position will likely begin the end of February.  The hours will be Monday – Thursday 9am-4pm, however this may be negotiated. Some of the duties include answering the phones and helping those who come into the office,  preparing the weekly bulletin, keeping the parish grounds schedule and rentals schedule.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.

This part-time position (non-exempt) would assist the Pastor and several staff members with secretarial and administrative functions for the Eastside Family. This is a wonderful opportunity to share Jesus’ love as you welcome people to the office, help support the ministry of the priests and other staff in our parish family, work with others on the phone, organize correct data systems for helping parishioners in their faith journey.   • Performs many of the secretarial/administrative job responsibilities for the parish including but not limited to answering phones, handling questions about policies, procedures, and events, greeting visitors with a warm welcome, and referring questions and people to the responsible departments in the parish family.
  • The assistant will have strong organizational and computer skills, maintain confidentiality and be self-motivated. Gabriel Software Experience and knowledge of G-Suites a plus but not required.
  • The assistant provides secretarial and clerical support for the parish office operations and assists accounting as needed.
  • Enter weekly contributions.
  • Assist in new parishioner registration and welcome letters.
  • Scheduling Mass intentions.
  • Assist volunteer groups as needed.

Description: Epiphany Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky seeks an energetic, organized, and mission-driven individual for the position of Pastoral Associate for Social Responsibility. Working collaboratively with the pastor, parish staff, and numerous committees, this person will engage the parish community in reflection and action on the social mission of the Church (both direct service and social justice). Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a practicing Roman Catholic with a Master (preferred) or Bachelor degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, or comparable field of study; have a minimum of two years’ experience in social action; have good communications skills; and have experience working with volunteers, multi-tasking, and performing administrative functions.
