Holy Face of Jesus Parishes is hiring a Director of Music for two of its parishes, St. Lawrence, Rhine and Immaculate Conception, Botkins.  The churches are located three miles apart in Shelby County.

The position is 12-15 hours a week and includes planning liturgical music and accompanying one Saturday and two Sunday Masses.  The Director of Liturgical Music also plays the organ/piano for all weddings (10-15 per year) and funerals (20-25 per year).  The congregations are familiar with chanting the ordinary parts of the Mass along with the Communion Antiphons.  Finally, Immaculate Conception is beginning the process to replace their current pipe organ.

Holy Face of Jesus Parishes is hiring a Coordinator of Youth Evangelization and Discipleship. We are located in Auglaize and Shelby Counties.

The Director of Youth Evangelization is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, reporting to the Director of Evangelization and is a key member of the Evangelization Team. The director is responsible for all efforts of accompanying youth — grades 9–12  (and their families) — through the Process of Evangelization and Discipleship so that youth encounter Christ.

St. John Fisher Catholic Church, part of the St. Gregory the Great Family of Parishes, is looking for a qualified candidate for the part-time, 28 hour per week position of parish secretary/receptionist to provide receptionist services for the parish office, answering phone calls and greeting/assisting parish visitors in a professional and friendly manner, provide secretarial and clerical services to staff, provide bookkeeping/recordkeeping services for the parish, coordinate and schedule volunteers, prepare and oversee distribution of weekly Sunday bulletin, parish newsletter, and prepare other publications as needed, assist Pastoral Associate in preparing for faith formation programs.

St. Gabriel Parish (Glendale), a member of the Tri-County Catholics family of parishes, is seeking a full-time time assistant of music and liturgy.

Primary responsibilities are to play for the three weekend liturgies – Saturday at 5 p.m., Sunday at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. – and to conduct one weekly rehearsal with cantors and other musicians. Currently there is a small choir which sings for the Sunday 10 a.m. Mass. Plan and play funerals and weddings with the families.  Training and development of liturgical ministers both at St. Gabriel and St. Michael (Sharonville) parishes.

The candidate must have proficiency in organ, piano and voice, with knowledge of the Catholic liturgy and good pastoral skills. The successful candidate is a team person, working with the staff members of the parish, as well as others in our family of parishes. Salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.

St. Gabriel has a 3 manual 6-rank Wicks pipe organ with Walker digital stops equivalent to 36-40 ranks. It was built in 2003. Both the organ and an upright piano are in the choir loft.
