This is a full-time position, whose availability to respond to campus emergencies outside of normal business hours is needed. This position will perform preventative, general, and mid-level maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler and other equipment, furniture, and fixtures throughout the campus. In addition, this position will be responsible for painting and light carpentry work. An ability to read and interpret building blueprints and documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals is required.
Physical requirements of the position include significant lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, climbing ladders, use of tools, and being able to withstand a variety of environmental conditions. Those interested in this position will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Our Lady of Light Family parishioner database (currently eCatholic / Gabriel) and online calendar (currently CalendarWiz). The job requires a wide range of skills and abilities in database and calendar administration, reporting, and data analysis. Other responsibilities include coordinating the department’s donor services processes (receiving, data entry, thanking and receipting all donations) and training back-office staff.
