Archbishop Moeller High School is seeking a full-time Program Manager of State Scholarships.

Executive Summary

The Program Manager of State Scholarships administers two key programs, the Jon Peterson Scholarship and the Ohio Ed Choice program. The Program Manager will interact regularly with the administration, faculty, counselors, students, parents, local school districts as well as the Ohio Department of Education. The Program Manager administers every aspect of the programs ensuring that the School remains in compliance.

The Program Manager is the campus expert on both programs, staying appraised of developments at the State level, maintaining regular communication with the State and Archdiocese, informing School leadership of potential changes, and advising on strategy to ensure the School is utilizing the programs most effectively for our families.

 

Selected Duties

Maintain the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship (JPSN) Program at Moeller

  • Maintain the School’s registration for JPSN eligibility
  • Establish working relationships with both Sycamore’s Office of Student Services, and  other home school districts
  • Maintain the JPSN Parent Handbook and other training materials, including roles and responsibilities for Moeller, service providers, parents & students and students’ home school district
  • Maintain Moeller’s active registration as a JPSN Service Provider
  • Assist with ETR, IEP and other required evaluations and compliance requirements
  • Prepare reports on school compliance with required regulations.  Coordinate process improvements as needed
  • Implements best practices and networks with other regional JPSN parochial, private and public schools
  • Manage billing of JPSN program, maintain budget and record and process ODE checks upon receipt

Maintain the Ohio Ed Choice Program

  • Collect and organize all Ed Choice documentation and submit to Ohio Department of Education
  • Work with families through application process, documentation corrections and verifying award status
  • Main correspondence with Ohio Department of Education regarding all Ed Choice inquiries
  • Follow up and maintain awards, refunds and/or status changes
  • Coordinate and update scholarships for tuition accounts with Tuition Manager and Financial Aid Manager
  • Record and process ODE checks upon receipt

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have (at least) an associates degree in a relevant field (i.e. business, education) and have demonstrable, relatable experience in implementing a complex program similar to Ed Choice or JPSN.
  • Ideal candidates will also demonstrate acute attention to detail, a strong customer-service mindset, and an eagerness to support the mission of the school: Catholic. Marianist. Forming Our Students into Remarkable Men.

Compensation, Benefits and Hiring

St. Gabriel Consolidated School, a Blue Ribbon school located in historic Glendale, is seeking a Principal to start with the 2022-2023 school year.  A K-8 school, St. Gabriel proudly serves a culturally diverse student population of 280, including bilingual, ESL and Ed Choice students, with a strong academic program.  A successful candidate will be a visionary and team-building leader who can work well with the three parishes forming the consolidated school – St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. John West Chester, and St. Gabriel.  S/he will also provide critical information and ideas as the parishes of St. Michael, St. John West Chester, and St. Gabriel combine to form one parish family according to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Beacons of Light plan.

St. Adalbert School in South Bend, IN (Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend) is seeking a Principal for the 2022-23 school year. 

St. Adalbert School was founded over 110 years ago by Polish immigrants and today serves a predominantly lower socio-economic Latino student body. The school is a vibrant community of professionally trained and certified teachers and dedicated parents. Over 90% of our K-8 students receive an Indiana School Choice Scholarship, which has provided these families with the opportunity for a Catholic Education. Since 2003 the Congregation of Holy Cross has provided pastoral care of the parish and the school which has nurtured a relationship with the University of Notre Dame and the Alliance for Catholic Education program.

In the Holy Cross tradition, St. Adalbert School strives to cultivate a community spirit and faith life, while nurturing individuals’ academic excellence. The principal serves three essential roles at St Adalbert: the spiritual leader, the instructional leader, and the executive manager. As the spiritual leader, the principal supports and models the Catholic identity of the school leading prayer, developing programs instilled with Gospel values, and coaching teachers and students alike in their own personal spirituality. As the instructional leader, the principal creates a collaborative environment that enables teachers to utilize research-based best practices and data to drive student learning. As the executive manager, the principal works with the pastor to manage a budget, increase enrollment to capacity, and ensure the facilities and technology meet the needs of the school community.

The preferred candidate:

  • Has computer skills and familiarity with the Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Has strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Has experience utilizing progress monitoring assessments such as NWEA MAP and/or using data to drive instruction and student learning
  • Has experience working with federal funding programs such as Title I, II, III, & IV
  • Has a conversational fluency in the Spanish language
  • Has an ENL license or knowledge of ENL academic programing

Requirements:

  • Holds a Bachelors or Masters college degree and holds (or is eligible for) an Indiana elementary supervision and administration license.
  • Has knowledge of the Catholic Faith and is a practicing/participating Catholic in good standing with the Church
  • Has at least 5 years of experience in Catholic schools as either a teacher or administrator
