Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Provide therapeutic service to students with IEPs, 504s, and general education students and/or collaborate with community organizations and refers students/families to organizations and services when necessary
– Coordinates services provided by outside agency representatives
– Manage a caseload of students who require therapy or other services
– Participate in the special education evaluation process for students with social-emotional and behavioral needs as needed; write annual social-emotional or behavioral goals on student IEPs
– Facilitate crisis management services for students
– Support school-based social-emotional programming interventions (Tier 1, 2 and 3) and initiatives; lead individual, small group and grade-level intervention
– Evaluate programmatic success of counseling department as it relates to student services; conduct reliable and valid assessments of students and families to inform the design of interventions to remove barriers to learning
– Provide support with college and career readiness initiatives to increase post-secondary degree and credential persistent and attainment
– Monitors and evaluates student progress: interprets standardized test scores, transcripts, assess student credits and credit granting standards
– Perform any duties assigned by Director of Counseling

Grades K-8: Technology Coordinator/Full-Time: Guardian Angles School and Parish (Cincinnati) seek a Technology Coordinator to begin immediately.  This is a full-time, 12-month position.  The Technology Coordinator reports directly to the school principal.  Responsible for developing short and long-range plans for the use of present and emerging technology designed to improve the teaching/learning process.  This work will involve working with students, parents, and staff.

MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND REGULAR ACTIVITIES:
– Manage all classroom technology including the 1:1 tablet program in grades K-8 (400+ devices).
– Direct the repair or replacement of all teacher and student tablets, desktop computers, printers, and projectors.
– Provide professional development for teachers on any new software/hardware.
– Support, install, and maintain server, user hardware, and software.
– Support, maintain, and troubleshoot school/parish-wide network.
– Utilize imaging software for the end-user configuration.
– Analyze systems to identify potential issues.
– Possess knowledge of most recent Windows version.
– Support Office 365 applications, including OneNote.
– Manage programs such as Renaissance Place products, online textbook accounts, and Rediker Administrators Plus Database.
– Produce Report Cards and all awards for each trimester and end-of-year.
– Coordinate information for E-rate filing.
– Support phone operations through current supplier.
– Support Access Control system and surveillance system through current suppliers.
– Manage Internet Filtering to meet CIPA requirements.
– Other duties as assigned by school and parish administration.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRMENTS:
– Bachelor’s degree in education with a concentration in technology, computer information systems, or equivalent.
– Classroom experience and Microsoft certification is a plus.
– Must pass a background, criminal, and reference check.
– All employees of Guardian Angels Church must be SafeParish trained and be current on their quarterly bulletins.
– Must be able to pass a drug test.
