Practices a collaborative style of ministerial leadership, evangelization and relationship development to recruit, develop and direct volunteer musicians, lead assembly music, select liturgical music from a variety of cultural and musical styles, and provide catechetical and spiritual formation for student choir directors, music ministers, and assemblies.

Grades 7-8: Teacher/Full-Time: The English Learner (EL) teacher provides English language development to children who are needing English language help, working collaboratively with other instructional personnel, to meet the individual needs of each child.  Required activities include planning and delivering lessons, collaborating with classroom teachers and specialists, administering formative and summative assessments, completing documentation required.  Demonstrates knowledge of second language learning patterns and best practices in English language development.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary in evaluating individual learning styles and needs, which results in planning for an appropriate course of study for individual students.  Collaborates with classroom teachers and specialists to ensure achievement of ELs across content areas.  Administers formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and ensure student achievement.  Possesses the skills necessary for serving as a liaison between the school and the home.  Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with classroom teachers, administration and teachers.  TESOL training is a plus.

Grades PK-8: Teacher/Full-Time: St. Luke School is in search of candidates interested in teaching Art for grades PK-8 in the 2024-2025 school year.  The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to design and implement lessons that are based on the Archdiocese Graded Course of Study that engage students at their level and challenge them to move beyond.  Communication skills are very important as they will need to work hand in hand with parents and colleagues to aid the students in their faith and academic development.  Candidates must be creative, comfortable with the use of technology and willing to collaborate with their grade level teaching partner.  All applicants must have a current Ohio teaching license or be in the process in obtaining one.  The must also complete all required background checks prior to the start of school.

Primary responsibilities are as follows:
Answer phone calls, record clear and accurate messages, answer routine questions, greets and assist parish visitors in a professional and friendly manner, maintain and keep updated hard copy and electronic information for the RE Office, maintain sacramental records appropriately, perform appropriate data entry functions, assist in preparing for faith formation programs and Sunday classes, coordinate and follow up with volunteer training compliance, assist and support the CRE in accomplishing parish and office goals as needed.

Qualifications for the ideal candidate include:
Working knowledge and proficiency of using personal computers and office software programs, specifically Microsoft Office and Google, must be organized and have the ability to effectively and professionally communicate verbally and in writing, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a variety of persons, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
