Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School is seeking an organized, detail oriented and experienced person to serve as the Administrative Assistant to Student Services.  Along with impeccable organizational and administrative skills, the assistant will bring energy and professionalism to the work of Student Services and the CJ Welcome Center team. The ideal candidate would have experience working in a school environment, experience in customer service, experience working in a fast-paced work setting and is proficient in Microsoft Office and Google.  This is a school year based hourly position and reports to the Director of Student Development. Your Responsibilities: 

As a full time, school year based team member, the Administrative Assistant to Student Services will:

  • Coordinate, organize, and maintain accurate student attendance and discipline records
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing attendance and discipline data to support student success initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for students, parents, faculty, and staff seeking assistance from Student Services and Welcome Center.
  • Be a collaborative and supportive member of the CJ Welcome Center team, working closely with the Office of Student Services, Student Activities Office, and Nurse’s Office to provide outstanding service to the school community.
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills through daily face-to-face interactions, telephone conversations, email correspondence, and other forms of communication with parents, students, and faculty/staff.
  • Maintain confidential student records and sensitive information with the highest degree of professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist with the coordination of office operations, student support initiatives, and special projects as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Development

Your Qualifications: 

To excel in this role, you need:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma, associate’s or bachelor’s degree is encouraged
  • Two to four years of experience working in an office environment that requires strong organizational, communication, and inter-personal service skills.
  • Previous experience in a school, educational, or student-centered setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office applications, databases, and other technology platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, faculty, staff, and community members.
  • The ability to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct when handling sensitive information and situations.
  • An appreciation for and willingness to support the mission of Catholic education and the unique charisms of the Marianists and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur
  • The ability to meet all requirements contained within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Child Protection Decree, including successful completion of all required background checks and screenings.

Assistant Cross Country Coach

Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School is seeking an Assistant Cross Country Coach to help lead and support our cross-country program. Previous coaching experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will be a positive, well-rounded, and engaging mentor who will facilitate growth and collaboration both on and off the course. We are looking for someone with a collaborative spirit and a creative approach to helping develop and maintain an efficient, competitive Cross Country program for grades 9-12.
