St. John Neumann Parish in Cincinnati is seeking a full time Office Manager.

The Office Manager is vital in supporting the overall operations of the parish office. Through a variety of secretarial and administrative duties, the office manager provides support to the Pastor, Pastoral Staff, as well as the parish community. They are the first point of contact for parishioners and external inquirers and consequently a vehicle for communication, therefore strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required. In addition, comfortability with computers and applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher is a significant necessity to the success of this position and parish functions.

Other desired qualifications include flexibility, creativity, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answering telephone calls, greeting walk-ins and directing parishioners to relevant staff
• Maintaining and operating the parish database system
• Overseeing campus calendar and office organization
• Producing and publishing parish communications such as the weekly bulletin, newsletter emails,
and social media content
• Keeping accurate records of gifts and sacraments

The Director of Religious Education and Youth Ministry provides youth leadership and direction regarding Liturgical ministry services for the parish and school, faith formation, and sacramental preparation and other functions as assigned by the Pastor.

  • Providing leadership and administration for religious education and youth ministry activities
  • Leading the school liturgical ministry program

St. Mary of the Knobs, in Floyd County outside of New Albany, IN in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, is seeking a Business Manager to be responsible for the overall operation of the parish with direct management of financial operations, payroll, tax and gaming compliance, and facilities. Other duties include serving as a liaison with our IT service provider, and various administrative functions.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position.

Saint Francis of Assisi and Incarnation Parishes in Centerville Ohio are fast growing parishes with talented and energetic volunteers and staff serving approximately 4,000 families. We are seeking an Associate Director of Youth Evangelization (9th-12th Grades). This position is full-time with a regular but flexible schedule, working 40+ hours per week. The Associate Director of Youth Evangelization will serve as a member of pastoral staff and is responsible for High School Youth Evangelization, including mission trips, retreats, weekly gatherings, Confirmation preparation and formation, and other faith formation efforts at Saint Francis of Assisi and Incarnation Parishes. The definitive aim of such evangelization and discipleship is to put people not only in touch, but in communion and intimacy with Jesus Christ. Gate of Heaven Cemetery is seeking a full-time Cemetery Worker/Operator to perform responsible semi-skilled work in the repair, maintenance, and care of its grounds, landscape and related structures.

Duties of this position may include:

1. Running a backhoe and coordinating the grave crew. Must have experience in digging graves.
2. Prepares gravesites for interments and assists in loading/unloading caskets.
3. Repairs graves that have settled.
4. Install markers, crypt, and niche plaques.
5. Removes flowers and related items from cemetery grounds as directed.
6. Works safely and complies with the Cemetery’s operating procedures, including proper use of protective equipment.
7. Effectively works with others to accomplish tasks.
8. Shows respect and sensitivity toward visiting families while working in a physically demanding environment.
9. Additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required.
2. Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history.
3. Cemetery work experience is a plus.
4. Must be able to operate light duty, motorized equipment.
5. Must be able to perform manual labor for extended periods, often under unfavorable weather conditions.
6. Must be able to work as a team member.
7. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and visiting families.

Additional Requirements:

1. Must be able to pass a background check/drug test.
2. Must be able to stay compliant with the Archdiocesan administered protection policy.
3. Periodic overtime and/or routine weekend work may be required.
4. Must have a valid driver’s license, required insurance coverage, and use of one’s personal automobile for local travel (mileage reimbursed).
