The Director of Marketing will help to implement the church’s overall strategic plan for internal and external communications.  This position is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of all marketing, church-wide communications, and media strategies.  The holder of this position informs people in our area about the many programs and events at Incarnation.  The candidate will invite people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through the promotion and communication of the events and ministry opportunities.

Candidates for this position will promote the mission of the Incarnation community, create strategies focused on growth of the parish through engagement with the school, manage the parish website and social media, market and promote programs and ministry opportunities, brand management and content design, work closely with the Director of Parish Engagement and supervise the school marketing contact.

The candidate should be a practicing Catholic with a minimum of 5 years of experience in communication and marketing.  The candidate must be able to fully commit to the mission, vision and values of Incarnation, has a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent work experience is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications and marketing is required along with previous church employment would be a plus.  Experience in creating or executing marketing plans, skilled at writing, editing, proofreading copy, and the flexibility to write in different styles for various audiences.  The candidate must also demonstrate project management skills with the ability to self-direct and prioritize goals.  Experience managing social media accounts will be required.

The primary function of this position will be to provide overall leadership and direction for total parish faith formation.  The holder of this position will also manage several functions and tasks including delegation and supervision of coordinators and support personnel who assist with these duties.  The Coordinator will also execute all parish programs and activities associated with catechetical programs and formational activities along with sacramental preparation.

The candidate should be a practicing Catholic certified as a catechetical leader in the DRE mode.  Qualified candidates would also have skills, knowledge and abilities in theology, organizational leadership, catechetics/education/evangelization, and program development.

St. Paul Catholic Center, the Newman Center and parish at Indiana University, Bloomington, is hiring a Coordinator of Development.  This position primarily manages the center’s development and stewardship program, which is designed to enhance the spiritual and moral development of our student and resident parishioners. This position also leads initiatives to thank and recognize donors for their philanthropic generosity.  This position is also responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting a targeted pool of donors, producing and disseminating parish print and electronic newsletters, disseminating the parish’s annual fund direct mail fundraising program, and assisting with other programs and initiatives as needed in order to grow our ministry.  The position could be based in Bloomington or done remotely.

The Coordinator of Sacramental Life is responsible for coordinating the schedules of the four priests of the NW-7 Family of Parishes (St. Michael, Fort Loramie; Sacred Heart, McCartyville; Ss. Peter & Paul, Newport; Holy Angels, Sidney.) This means justly distributing various weddings, funerals, and baptisms between priests. Would manage the schedule regarding sacraments for all priests. For funerals, the coordinator of sacramental life will be the point of contact for funeral directors. The coordinator will work closely with the pastor to better understand his vision and aid him in implementing his pastoral vision. Help the pastor to bring about unity in the Family of Parishes. The coordinator would be responsible for managing the pastor’s schedule and would also become responsible for composing and responding to emails that fall within their competence on behalf of the pastor. Composing correspondence to the parishes, groups, or individuals would be expected of the coordinator when needed. The coordinator would be asked to plan and organize liturgical events (e.g. processions, holy hours, etc.) This individual would need to ensure that liturgical items are well kept and stocked for the celebration of the sacraments. When needed the coordinator will meet with individuals and groups on behalf of the pastor. The coordinator would need to be flexible in their responsibilities to best serve the Family of Parishes and its priests.

Catholic Communities of Northwest Dayton is looking for a communication leader to create and implement a cohesive communication plan for our region of 2000 families.  Successful candidate will be responsible for the timely development and distribution of all print, electronic and event materials.  Manager will be responsible for the communities’ websites, weekly bulletin, electronic newsletter and social media accounts.  Communication manager will be responsible for developing and implanting an overarching strategy that will reach targeted individuals and/or groups in the parishes and community at large.

Candidates should be a practicing Catholic and with an undergrad degree in communication or similar degree. Experience is preferred. Successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft office products along with some design programs.  Ability to use a camera and work with other parish databases is a plus.

Catholic Communities of Northwest Dayton is seeking a full time parish secretary to become a member of our team.  Duties include answering phone and door, maintaining parish databases and permanent records, coordinating schedules, and performing other administrative duties as assigned by the pastor and /or business manager.  Applicant must have some proficiency in the Microsoft office suite, and be able to work with other cloud based software programs that meet the office needs.  Employment is contingent upon meeting all background checks and Safe Parish requirements.  Must be practicing catholic.
