Bellarmine Chapel, a Catholic faith community located on the campus of Xavier University, is seeking a full-time Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.

The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry is responsible for coordinating the parish’s youth and young adult ministry with, by, to and for its young people, 7th thru 12th grade, and young adults 18-35 years of age; in close collaboration with parents, the pastor, pastoral staff, ministry leaders, the parish community and Xavier University. The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry will serve in the Ignatian tradition of spirituality and ministry by empowering young people to live healthy and fruitful lives of faith, service and justice.

Summary of the Position: The Catholic Diocese of Columbus, located at 197 East Gay Street, Columbus, is looking for a qualified individual to join its staff.

The Human Resources Director is responsible for personnel administration, ensuring that advice and actions comply with diocesan policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations. These duties are handled at the Catholic Center but also functions primarily as a consultant to parishes and schools. Position routinely interacts with a wide variety of outside contacts along with all diocesan locations, Catholic Center staff, and diocesan employees.

The position is expected to use personal judgment in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources Office.

Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of prior HR experience is required. Proficient knowledge
of human resource practices, federal and state laws and regulations is require. Knowledge of
employees’ benefits is required. A minimum of 2-3 years of prior workers’ compensation and
unemployment experience is required.

Evening and weekend work may be needed to attend meetings; occasional travel as needed is required.

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology seeks an energetic and experienced Director of the Annual Fund.  The Director manages and executes all annual giving activities including the design and implementation of a multi-channel appeal strategy, determines targeted segmentation and analyzes results to enhance revenue for unrestricted giving while also expanding the donor base.

Specifically, the Director of the Annual Fund will:

  • Create, implement and evaluate a comprehensive, multi-year plan to increase both dollars and donors in support of the MTSM Annual Fund to meet annual revenue goals and strengthen giving
  • Determine and execute segmentation strategies to maximize response rates and revenue
  • Ensure the Bishop Fenwick Society members ($1,000 and above) are solicited personally by staff and volunteers, where appropriate
  • Monitor and evaluate results
  • Work in collaboration with the Vice President for Development & Relations and other members of the Advancement Office

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of measurable, relevant experience in annual giving or a similar field
  • Proven success in face-to-face solicitation
  • Proven management of giving programs
  • Excellent writing and data analysis skills
  • Commitment to the mission and message of the Catholic Church
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

St. Columban Catholic Church in Loveland seeks to hire a full-time Bookkeeper.  The Bookkeeper provides the day-to-day fiscal and operational support, computer input/output service for the parish and school.  Duties include but are not limited to:  recording and processing deposits, checks, payroll, tuition and management of the general ledger.   The position includes full health and retirement benefits.  Two years’ experience in bookkeeping required.   Candidates must have Excel® experience, proficient keyboarding skills, ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters, and the ability to relate to a variety of persons.  Familiarity with Parish Soft software a plus.  The position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
