The Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford is looking for cooks to help us with meal preparation for our guests on retreat.

The Center provides buffet-style, breakfast, lunch, and dinners to those staying in any of our four retreat houses, all located on our 37-acre wooded campus along the Little Miami River in Milford, Ohio.

Ideal candidates should be able to prepare, from scratch, hot and cold items, for up to 150 people, in accordance with all Health Department food-safety regulations.

We are open 7 days a week, with flexible, full-time, and part-time schedules available.   No late nights! Out by 8:30 at the latest!

St. Gertrude Church is seeking a full-time coordinator of youth ministry to join our Office of Evangelization & Faith Formation. The coordinator of youth ministry will be responsible for recruiting and forming adult and high school volunteers as teams of missionary disciples who will carry out the formation initiatives of junior high and high school teens. Secondarily, the coordinator will develop and execute content, curriculum, and programs for teens, with a primary focus on grades 9-12 and a secondary focus on grades 7-8.

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Managing Director for College & Young Adult Evangelization who will direct the Young Adult team in the Center for the New Evangelization (CNE). The purpose of this team is to develop ministries and means for young adults to discover and live their unique and unrepeatable vocation in and through the Church. The Managing Director must be a missionary disciple passionate about introducing young adults to Jesus Christ and His Church. This individual must have a regular prayer life centered on intimacy with Christ and be able to pray easily with others. He or she must be a strong conceptual and strategic thinker who is able to lead by influence and creatively overcome barriers.

The Managing Director collaborates closely and congenially with the entire staff of the CNE and the Department of Communication & Evangelization, as well as other archdiocesan offices. Xavier University, a Jesuit Catholic university in Cincinnati, invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant III at the Dorothy Day Center for Faith and Justice within the Division of Mission and Ministry. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Mission and Ministry/University Jesuit Chaplain and supports all of the Center’s programming and operations.

The Administrative Assistant III is responsible for the following major aspects of the Center’s work: supporting the Associate VP/University Jesuit Chaplain, bookkeeping and accounting, hospitality, and management of student workers. The Director of Communications is responsible for serving as the chief communications officer for the Missionaries of the Precious Blood. This includes formulating and coordinating an overall communications strategy that enables the Congregation to fulfill its mission internally and externally. The director is responsible for all media outlets including web communications, broadcast email, social media, and print, as well as for facilitating communication with constituents and ministries. The director also creates marketing campaigns and materials for projects and initiatives of the Congregation and its ministries, including any fund development campaigns. The director is the primary contact for media inquiries and serves as the spokesperson for the Congregation when appropriate.
