This position is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a system of operations for social services at the Neyer Outreach Center, as well as providing guidance and support to our network of volunteers across Hamilton County. Supportive supervision, attention to details, and oversight of operations to ensure programmatic and financial accountability are key aspects of this role.  The prompt and effective delivery of service engagement and responsible stewardship are the expectations of this team member’s work. Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) is the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s graduate-level Catholic Seminary and School of Theology. Founded in 1829, MTSM provides preparation for ordination to the priesthood and permanent diaconate as part of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary. In addition, our School of Theology offers classes for graduate and certification programs for laity, clergy and religious. MTSM is a growing, vibrant organization with more than 80 seminarians from six different dioceses with many more men and women working towards graduate degrees and certificates.

We seek a highly-skilled communications professional to lead the flow of information between MTSM’s Advancement Office and the public. The Communications & Marketing Specialist must be a technically savvy problem solver who plans and executes marketing strategies for Development & Alumni Relations; writes and designs a variety of print and other materials; and manages the organization’s website and social media presence. The position reports to the Vice President for Development and Relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement the Advancement Office’s marketing and communications strategy.
  • Write & design promotional materials for print and digital dissemination.
  • Create and direct the organization’s social media and online presence.
  • Write, edit, design and in some cases publish content for both print and digital including the organization’s website, brochures and other materials.
  • Manage and direct the work of creative talent as needed.
  • Assist in the planning, executing and marketing of all events.
  • Serve as an evangelist for the mission utilizing all communications channels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing or communications position, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience planning and managing social media accounts and website digital presence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Commitment to the mission and message of the Catholic Church and the ability to communicate it clearly and effectively.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

St. Thomas More Parish and School has an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician position.  This is a full time, 12-month position with benefits.  This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and assists with the maintenance and repair of property, equipment and grounds. Responsibilities include but are not limited to custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal and freshening up restrooms; maintaining floors including stripping and waxing as needed; lifting/moving heavy equipment and furniture.  The ideal candidate should have a basic knowledge of using hand tools and be able to respond to daily maintenance issues while prioritizing tasks.

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Director of Digital Engagement. The Director of Digital Engagement is an innovative change agent and collaborative leader responsible for continuously evolving and improving the digital platforms and approaches of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati with a significant focus on evangelization. The Director is responsible for: (1) leading the acquisition, creation and presentation of compelling digital content that brings to life the beauty, goodness and truth of the Catholic faith; (2) creatively driving engagement of Catholics, especially young adult Catholics, with this content; and (3) contributing both strategically and executionally to the various priorities of the archdiocese and the Department of Communication & Evangelization. The Director is the archdiocese point person for digital agency Heroic Strategies and email platform Active Campaign, as well as any future such digital providers.

The Director of Digital Engagement collaborates closely and congenially with the entire staff of the Department of Communication & Evangelization, as well as other archdiocesan offices.
