The Parish Coordinator of Communications (CC) is a member of the parish staff that works with the pastor and staff to utilize all communication tools at the parish’s disposal to create and implement a cohesive internal, as well as external, communication plan for the NE7 Family of Parishes. The CC will plan, organize, and manage the successful completion of all communication aspects of the NE7 Family of Parishes. This includes but is not limited to the church bulletin, newsletter, website, social media sites, flyers, direct mail, letters, and any other communication for the NE7 Family of Parishes. We are a bilingual Family of Parishes, and a working knowledge of the Spanish language is preferred but not required.

Due to an upcoming retirement and the creation of a new position, the Kettering Catholic Community is seeking to fill two Pastoral Associate positions.  While a spirit of cooperation and awareness of each locations’ ministries within our parish family is needed, one position will be based at Ascension and the other at St. Albert the Great. A colleague is in place at St. Charles.

The primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and administration in specific areas of parish life and to enable others in ministry.  There are three areas of primary responsibility, (Liturgical, Pastoral Care & Clergy Assistance), the needs of the parish may require taking on other tasks as necessary.  Serves as professional member of the Family of Parishes Staff.  While based at a particular location, awareness of and cooperation with ministries at other locations required.  All work is done in conjunction with applicable Church guidelines and documents.

The Pastoral Associate will be a key member of the parish staff.  Position is full-time with competitive compensation and full benefits.  Prefer degree or certification from Catholic institution of higher learning.  The qualifying credentials can be met in a variety of ways including level of formal education, private study level and prior experience.  Practicing Catholic in good standing required.

The Director of Faith Formation and Initiation is the pastoral team member charged with assisting the Pastor in the formation of the parish in the Catholic faith. This minister provides vision, leadership, supervision, and coordination of faith formation programs and processes in the parish. The Director of Faith Formation and Initiation is a full-time member of the Pastoral Team. The position focuses on Christian initiation of adults and children over the age of seven; coordination of our Adult Faith Formation team and parish activities affiliated with the team; coordination, collaboration and support of adult faith ministries (bible studies, women’s ministry, etc.); oversight of the Sacred Library and collaboration and coordination of marriage formation.

Qualifications: Education: BS/BA in Religious Education, Theology, Education or Social Sciences with a preference of a Master’s in Theology. Also requires a Master Catechist Certification or active work towards certification. Requires two years of experience.  Candidates must be an active, practicing Catholic in good standing in the Church.
