Ministry is primarily among upper division students who live in the student neighborhood on campus. Supervises student workers, responds to students in crisis and provides ongoing pastoral care for students.

This is a full-time, 10-month exempt position with full benefits including healthcare, employee and dependent tuition remission, schedule flexibility to accommodate some late night/weekend ministry, professional development, matching retirement contributions, and more. Under the direction of the Rector, Cathedral of St. John, the Director of Music provides music for the celebration of the Church’s Rites. In addition, this role serves to coordinate all music for Diocesan celebrations, accomplishes administrative responsibilities related to liturgy and music for the Office of Worship, and provides consultation to Diocesan parishes regarding liturgical music. The anticipated time allocation for this full-time role is approximately seventy percent dedicated to the Cathedral and 30 percent dedicated to Office of Worship.

Seeking a dynamic and devout Catholic to spearhead evangelization efforts among existing parishioners and to market the Faith and our Family of Parishes in Lebanon, Morrow and the surrounding areas in Warren County, Ohio. We have a vibrant parish, which includes five days of around the clock eucharistic adoration, roughly 30 people currently enrolled in RCIA (with 22 having entered the Church here last Easter), and a beautiful new parish office and meeting space scheduled to open next month in Lebanon. The potential exists to really grow!

The Director\Coordinator of Parish Evangelization will work closely with the Pastor and the Coordinator of Religious Education, with a focus on adult catechesis and formation. Candidates should be highly creative with excellent writing and public speaking skills, and comfortable sharing their faith. Previous experience helpful. Marketing and\or Theology background preferred. Because there is a small but growing Hispanic community, Spanish language skills would be a plus.
