The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Director of Digital Engagement. The Director of Digital Engagement is an innovative change agent and collaborative leader responsible for continuously evolving and improving the digital platforms and approaches of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati with a significant focus on evangelization. The Director is responsible for: (1) leading the acquisition, creation and presentation of compelling digital content that brings to life the beauty, goodness and truth of the Catholic faith; (2) creatively driving engagement of Catholics, especially young adult Catholics, with this content; and (3) contributing both strategically and executionally to the various priorities of the archdiocese and the Department of Communication & Evangelization. The Director is the archdiocese point person for digital agency Heroic Strategies and email platform Active Campaign, as well as any future such digital providers.

The Director of Digital Engagement collaborates closely and congenially with the entire staff of the Department of Communication & Evangelization, as well as other archdiocesan offices. The Petersburg Region (NW-4) has a full time position for Director of Liturgical Music, for Immaculate Conception (Botkins) and St Lawrence (Rhine). The Director of Liturgical Music serves the parish as principal musician, organist, and choir director according to the highest professional standards established by this profession.

Responsibilities include playing the organ for weekend  and holy day parish liturgical celebrations, coordinating and accompanying parish choral groups, training, directing and scheduling cantors and providing music for weddings, funerals and other events.  This role further acts as the liturgical Life coordinator for the Petersburg Parishes, scheduling Liturgical Ministers and ensuring they are properly trained. The successful candidate will be a member of the Pastoral Team, actively participating in liturgy preparation groups and other pastoral staff activities.

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Regional Director in the Office of Catholic Social Action located in Dayton, OH. The Regional Director is responsible for the development and maintenance of an effective Catholic Social Action presence in the Dayton and Northern areas of the Archdiocese. The Regional Director empowers Catholics in these areas to celebrate and live out the Gospel call for life, human dignity, and care for God’s creation through Catholic Social Teaching formation, organizing social ministries, and opportunities for public advocacy and action. The Regional Director also serves as a point of contact for ecumenical and interfaith relations on behalf of the Archdiocese in these areas.

The Regional Director should have a minimum of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology or a related field, at least three years of experience in church-related, community organizing, or other field that demonstrates a personal commitment to the promotion of the life and dignity of the human person and a care for God’s creation.  Candidates should also have knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching and an ability to articulate it clearly. He/she should also have an appreciation of and some practical experience of working with other Christian and non-Christian faith communities. He/she should also have a history of organizing people and resources to accomplish specific tasks, experience with public speaking and writing, and a demonstrated managerial ability.

The Catholic Conference of Ohio, the official representative of the Catholic Church in matters of public policy and government relations, is seeking an Associate Director of Education to lead and advocate for the Conference’s activities related to educational issues, particularly those affecting Catholic school communities.

The primary responsibility of the Associate Director of Education is to monitor, evaluate, and propose responses to legislative and public policy issues and interpret educational laws, rules, and policy proposals for their impact on Catholic schools, students, families, and educators. The person in this position also convenes regular meetings for diocesan superintendents of schools and gathers other program directors or diocesan staff, as needed. The Associate Director of Education reports to the Executive Director of the Conference.

The Parish Family of St. Columbkille and St. Augustine is accepting applications for the position of Director of Catechesis and Evangelization.  The Director provides overall leadership and direction for the SE1 family of parishes Religious Education programs, Pre-K through Adult as well as parish and family wide faith experiences including the R.C.I A. process.  The Director administers (designs, develops, directs, and evaluates) all parish family catechetical and evangelizing programs for the combined parish family with the help of the St. Augustine CRE.  Applicant needs to be familiar with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd family-based catechesis as well as familiarity with Life Teen.  The Director will assist in articulating a clear mission/vision for evangelization to the family of parishes. We are looking for a missionary disciple who is a fully initiated and practicing member of the Catholic Church.  A degree in Theology/Catechetics or Certification in Parish Catechetical Leadership is preferred. This is a full-time position.
