The Director of Music Ministry is responsible for:

Planning and playing for 2 weekend liturgies and all holy days.
Responsible for planning and playing for all special sacramental liturgies including weddings and funerals.
Working with the choir and cantors to prepare for the weekend liturgies.
Ensuring the instrumental and sound equipment is maintained.

A strong candidate will have strong vocal skills in addition to being proficient in organ & piano. Must be a practicing Catholic with liturgical knowledge. Must be able to pass a background check and be within compliance with the Decree on Child Protect prior to start of employment.

St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, a large suburban parish with over 3200 registered families, is accepting applications for the position of Bookkeeper.

If you are a problem solver, handle multiple tasks easily, quickly, and accurately, and have a heart for working in ministry to the church, St. Max is looking for you!

This is a part-time, 25 hours per week position, reporting to the Pastoral Associate for Finance and Human Resources.

Duties include, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two-year accounting degree or a minimum of two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Experience working with the public
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with accounting software
Excellent record keeping, data entry and review skills – observant, accurate, and detail-oriented
Proficiency with databases and basic office software
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task with ease and professionalism
Ability to prioritize, be flexible, and meet deadlines
Proven ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality in all matters
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with parishioners, visitors and staff
Demonstrated initiative with a “can do” attitude to problem-solving
Demonstrated professional maturity and the ability to represent the parish to those who call or visit

Employees of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church will have knowledge of the Catholic faith, a willingness to work for a Catholic, faith-based agency and adhere to the policies of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. St. Francis de Sales Parish in Lebanon, OH seeks a Music Director\Organist for weekend Masses, the Wednesday morning school Mass, and funerals\weddings as they occur. Additional responsibilities include scheduling cantors and recruiting, developing and directing both the adult and children’s choir. Candidate should be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Bilingual skills a plus. Experience in a parish a plus. Position could be part-time or full-time depending on the needs of the parish and skills/abilities of the applicant.

St. Maximillian Kolbe Church is seeking applications from experienced candidates for the position of Facilities and Maintenance Manager.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position.

JOB SUMMARY: The Facilities and Maintenance Manager, along with a supervised staff of skilled, semiskilled, and unskilled trade personnel, oversees all activities related to the operation, repair, cleaning, maintenance, and construction of the parish campus, in a safe and effective manner.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: This position is based on a 50 hour work week and requires being on call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Evening, weekend, and holiday work, and work during inclement weather, may be required. Exposure to climate changes, uncomfortable temperatures, and fumes should be expected. The manager will be expected to work with machinery and equipment requiring considerable caution, and be able to sustain frequent lifting and standing.

Candidate must hold a valid Ohio License. Before starting the position, the manager must be fingerprinted, complete a background check, and be enrolled and/or current with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati SafeParish child protection training.

The South 7 Family of Parishes (Assumption, St. Bartholomew, St. Bernard, St. Clare, Mother of Christ, St. Vivian) is hiring a Youth Minister. The candidate should have good communication skills with both adults and youth.

Status: Full-time salaried position, with regular evening and weekend hours. This position qualifies for benefits such as medical insurance, a generous 401k package, paid vacation and sick days.

The Director would be responsible for managing a Jr. High and High school youth ministry program as well as assisting with the Confirmation program. Our program has a history of regular meetings for both high school and jr. high students as well as several yearly events including mission trip, jr. high camp, quarterly fun outings, and other retreats and faith building events.

The Director would also be responsible for events and programs aimed at evangelizing and increasing involvement of Young Adult Catholics.

Candidate must be an active member of a Catholic Parish and meet all of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Decree on Child Protection requirements.

This full time, salaried position will serve as The Director of Liturgical Music and Worship for the Beacons of Light S4 family of parishes as principal musician, organist, and choir director. Majority of playing time will be at Our Lady of the Valley Parish for two weekend masses, funerals, weddings and holy days. Director will work towards unifying the mass music for the S4 family and the current part time musicians. Also, according to Beacons of Light Pastoral Planning Pathway, this person will create a vision for a Eucharist-centered parish family, form a Family Worship Commission and ensure that the commission fulfills the established vision.
