The NW-2 Family of Parishes including St Patrick – Glynwood, St Teresa – Rockford, Our Lady of Guadalupe- Montezuma, Holy Rosary-St Marys, Immaculate Conception-Celina, is seeking a Director of Evangelization. The Director of Evangelization is responsible for supervising and managing the Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams at NW-2 Family of Parishes. The Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams includes Coordinators and Youth Ministers for Youth (K-5), Youth (6-12), Adult Evangelization, and Marriage and Family Evangelization. The Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams are responsible for all efforts of accompanying youth, adults, and families through the Process of Evangelization so that the parish is creating missionary disciples.  The Director of Evangelization must be able to articulate and implement a clear vision/mission for Evangelization to parents, youth, staff, and parishioners.

Strongly prefer a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or related field, or commensurate ministry experience. Must have spiritual maturity, defined as a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who is faithful to the Magisterium, consistent in one’s prayer life, regularly receiving the sacraments, and able to speak of one’s relationship with Jesus. Must have a broad understanding of and ability to articulate Church teaching regarding evangelization, catechesis, prayer, sacraments, and ecclesiology. Must have experience mentoring and accompanying adults at different stages of the discipleship path. Must be able to pray in front of and with others, to lead and participate in spontaneous prayer. Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people using the spoken word, both within one-on-one coaching/mentoring situations and in large group settings. Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is looking for a Coordinator of Music Ministry. The person in the position of Coordinator of Music Ministry will lead the music program for the parish, helping the parish community to pray by supporting liturgies with vibrant and inspirational music.

The Parish Coordinator of Communications (CC) is a member of the parish staff that works with the pastor and staff to utilize all communication tools at the parish’s disposal to create and implement a cohesive internal, as well as external, communication plan for the NE7 Family of Parishes. The CC will plan, organize, and manage the successful completion of all communication aspects of the NE7 Family of Parishes. This includes but is not limited to the church bulletin, newsletter, website, social media sites, flyers, direct mail, letters, and any other communication for the NE7 Family of Parishes. We are a bilingual Family of Parishes, and a working knowledge of the Spanish language is preferred but not required.

Due to an upcoming retirement and the creation of a new position, the Kettering Catholic Community is seeking to fill two Pastoral Associate positions.  While a spirit of cooperation and awareness of each locations’ ministries within our parish family is needed, one position will be based at Ascension and the other at St. Albert the Great. A colleague is in place at St. Charles.

The primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and administration in specific areas of parish life and to enable others in ministry.  There are three areas of primary responsibility, (Liturgical, Pastoral Care & Clergy Assistance), the needs of the parish may require taking on other tasks as necessary.  Serves as professional member of the Family of Parishes Staff.  While based at a particular location, awareness of and cooperation with ministries at other locations required.  All work is done in conjunction with applicable Church guidelines and documents.

The Pastoral Associate will be a key member of the parish staff.  Position is full-time with competitive compensation and full benefits.  Prefer degree or certification from Catholic institution of higher learning.  The qualifying credentials can be met in a variety of ways including level of formal education, private study level and prior experience.  Practicing Catholic in good standing required.
