Saint Francis of Assisi and Incarnation Parishes in Centerville Ohio are fast growing parishes with talented and energetic volunteers and staff serving approximately 4,000 families. We are seeking an Associate Director of Youth Evangelization (9th-12th Grades). This position is full-time with a regular but flexible schedule, working 40+ hours per week. The Associate Director of Youth Evangelization will serve as a member of pastoral staff and is responsible for High School Youth Evangelization, including mission trips, retreats, weekly gatherings, Confirmation preparation and formation, and other faith formation efforts at Saint Francis of Assisi and Incarnation Parishes. The definitive aim of such evangelization and discipleship is to put people not only in touch, but in communion and intimacy with Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to equip high school youth and their families to encounter Jesus Christ through a lifelong process that encourages them to become missionary disciples in the world.  The Associate Director of Youth Evangelization is a person who is a fully initiated and practicing member of the Catholic Church. A degree in Theology or Catholic Studies is preferred along with experience in leading and implementing religious education programs. Job Information:
Holy Family, a multicultural catholic faith community in East Price Hill and South Fairmount is looking for a qualified candidate for the part-time, 25 hours per week(M-F) position of parish secretary/receptionist.

Primary responsibilities are as follows:
Provide receptionist services for the parish office, answering phone calls and greeting/assisting parish visitors in a professional and friendly manner; provide secretarial and clerical services to the pastor, business manager, pastoral associate and key parish leaders; provide sacramental recordkeeping services for the parish; coordinate and schedule volunteers in the parish office; compile requests for bulletin articles and inserts; prepare and oversee distribution of weekly Sunday bulletin; prepare other publications as needed. Work on Parish Social Media Accounts and Website.

Qualifications for the ideal candidate include:
Effective written and verbal professional communicator (Bi-lingual), English/Spanish. Working knowledge of and skill in using computers and office software programs, specifically Microsoft Office products (including Publisher), although additional training will be provided as needed; must be adept in creatively laying out copy for bulletin and other publications; must have ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters. Working knowledge of Gabriel software program is preferred but not required.

Uptown Catholic Parish Region is seeking a Parish Office Assistant

The Parish Assistant is responsible for various duties involving both administrative and accounting facets of the region. Below is a short, but not comprehensive, list:

  • Receives and places telephone calls, schedules appointments
  • Manages parish records and schedules intentions for Masses
  • Manages venue reservations and keys for the region
  • Performs significant amounts of data entry
  • Manages records retention and production
  • Assists with bookkeeping procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned by Business Manager

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, organizational abilities and be adept in Excel and comfortable with learning a variety of database and website applications. Some experience in basic accounting concepts is preferred.

St. Philip the Apostle in Morrow is seeking a part-time Music Minister to serve as organist/pianist for weekend Masses, Holy Days of Obligation and other special liturgies, such as funerals, weddings and reconciliation services.

This individual will collaborate with the Pastor, Pastoral Council and Pastoral Staff to implement plans associated with Beacons of Light. There may also be occasions where the music minister will meet with the Music Director at St. Francis de Sales in Lebanon (our sister parish in the family) to plan special liturgies and/or liturgical seasons. Understanding of the liturgy of the Mass and working with the liturgical calendar and scriptural themes is strongly preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable with playing music for the liturgy and working with a cantor and choir, and will likely involve choir practice one evening a week.

The position would entail approximately 10 – 15 hours per week. Weekend Mass times are Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. The occasional funeral is generally scheduled at 11 a.m. during the week.

The Catholic Communities of Northeast Dayton are seeking a part-time parish secretary to become a member of our team at St. Christopher, Vandalia.

Duties include answering phone and door, maintaining parish databases and permanent records, sacramental records, coordinating schedules, and performing other administrative duties as assigned by the pastor and /or business manager. Applicants must have some proficiency in the Microsoft office suite, and be able to work with other cloud-based software programs that meet the office needs. Employment is contingent upon meeting all background checks and Safe Parish requirements.

Our Lady of the Visitation in Cincinnati seeks qualified applicants for the position of Director of Religious Education (DRE) for a vibrant parish of 2300 families.  The ideal candidate is a faith-filled, enthusiastic individual who has the ability to share their love of Christ and His Church with children and families in a way that will challenge them to reflect more deeply on their faith while fostering an environment of spiritual growth.  Primary responsibilities include: professional communication and interaction with parishioners and staff; implementing a comprehensive faith formation program for children from preschool through 8th grade including Theology of the Body; coordinating and facilitating sacramental preparation for the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation; coordinating Parish School of Religion; and recruiting and training catechists.  This individual oversees and works with an assistant.
