Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church has an opening for a Hispanic Ministry Coordinator

This full-time position will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating Spanish-language liturgies; online and in person
    • Recruit, train and manage volunteers (greeters, Eucharistic Ministry, lectors, prayer writing/translation, announcements, recordings for online Masses etc.).
  • Coordinating database of parishioner information for Hispanic families.
    • Translate and assist families as needed.
  • Coordinating Faith Formation
    • Promote and connect Hispanic adults and families to parish faith formation programs (sacramental preparation, RCIA, Youth Ministry, etc.).
  • Managing publicity, promotion, and communication of parish programs
    • Assist with publication of the parish Bulletin, Social Media and website.

Bachelor’s Degree in Theology preferred.

Work collaboratively with pastoral staff.
Present on Saturdays (includes attending 7:00 PM Mass in Spanish) and for evening parish programs (online and in person) on scheduled weeknights.

Candidates must be fully bilingual Spanish – English.
Fluency in English and Spanish conversation, reading and writing is required.
Competency with social media and computer skills required.
Public speaking, presentation (online, video) skills preferred.

The Director of Pastoral Ministries will be responsible for managing our parish ministries to enhance parishioner engagement.  This individual will coordinate, support, empower and direct when necessary, the work of the ministerial activities of the parish. This includes but is not limited to our Sacramental Ministries (Baptism, Marriage and Bereavement), Liturgical Ministries and Social Outreach.   This is a new position and will require experience with program development.

Must be a Catholic in good standing. Bachelor’s Degree required.  Master’s Degree in pastoral ministry/theology is preferred.  Minimum of three years ministerial experience in a Catholic parish.  Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable networking and building relationships with volunteers. Strong technology skills, experience with various social media and software platforms is key.

Full time.  Requires occasional evening and weekend hours.

Maintenance worker: must be self-motivated, good with the public, and detail-oriented. Full-time position: hours are 3:00pm-11:00pm on school days and 8:00am-4:00pm when school is not in session.  Duties include cleaning, floors, light maintenance, grounds keeping, snow removal, etc. The candidate must be capable of lifting heavy objects and handling stairs. Clermont Catholic Communities has an immediate opening for a part-time Accounting and Office Administrative Assistant.  The position reports to the Business Manager, who reports directly to the Region Pastor.  Clermont Catholic Communities Regional Office is located at St. Louis Church & School in Owensville (approximately 8 miles from I-275).

The accounting and office administrative assistant’s key roles are to assist the business manager with data entry and computer processing of accounts payable, payroll, offerings, cemetery data, tuition payments and other normal business administrative responsibilities.  This role requires a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Word) and Gmail. The position is part-time; ideally a max of 3-half days a week (flexible).

Qualifications for this position are as follows:

A High School diploma is required, college or prior professional experience is preferred.

The Accounting and Office Assistant must be compassionate, considerate and exhibit a professional demeanor at all times.  He or she must have excellent communication skills and be highly organized.  Excellent listening skills and a service-oriented mindset are essential. This person must be able to converse and communicate regarding very sensitive issues and be able to maintain confidentiality. They must have the ability to work with frequent interruptions and remain focused.  The ability to work independently and meet deadlines are very important.

Are you excited about your Catholic faith?  Do you want to share this enthusiasm with the youth – the future of our church?  Our parish is a dynamic and active community of over 2,400 families.  We are seeking energetic and organized candidates for the position of Pastoral Associate for Youth.  Focused on the junior high and high school members of our parish, the primary responsibility for this position is the coordination of youth ministry, including sacramental preparation for Confirmation.  There are also responsibilities for managing a budget and working with the PA for Children’s Faith Formation on Junior High Youth Ministry activities.  An annual summer mission trip and junior high camp are also included in the responsibilities.  The religious life of our parish is in the hands of our youth, can you help us to run programs, coordinate activities, plan retreats and have fun with the youth of our parish?

This position is part-time to full-time flexible (24-32 hours per week, benefits-eligible at 30 hours) and in-office or work-at-home options are available.  Youth events are in person and typically occur on weekends.  Candidates must be practicing Catholics.  We prefer an undergraduate degree in education, theology, ministry or a related field.  Previous experience in education or youth ministry is a plus. Successful candidates will be proficient in the use and application of Microsoft Office products
