The Catholic Schools Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a Director of Faith Development.

The Director of Faith Development will be tasked with providing oversight and support to Campus Ministers, teachers of Religion, and Theology departments within the 88 elementary and 23 secondary schools in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The Director will also vet educational resources and programs for orthodoxy and quality. He/she must practice and have a love of the Catholic Faith, and a desire to use his/her God-given talents to lead souls toward salvation.

The Director of Faith Development will report directly to the Deputy Superintendent of Catholic Identity, work with the Catholic Identity Team, and build productive and mutually respectful relationships with all co-workers and Catholic school personnel. The Catholic Schools Office of the Pastoral Center of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a Pastoral Planning Support Specialist.

The Pastoral Planning Support Specialist provides support and direction to the Families of Parishes within the Archdiocese that contain one or more Catholic school(s).  The primary focus for this position is working to best incorporate Catholic education into the Pastoral Plan of each Parish Family. The Pastoral Planning Support Specialist role is project-based and is approved through 6/30/23 at which time it will be reevaluated as the pastoral planning process work continues in Families of Parishes. The Pastoral Planning Support Specialist works in fidelity with the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the Archdiocese and the Catholic Schools Office.

The Office of Life, Human Dignity and Charity in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking an Associate Director for Respect Life Ministries. The Associate Director works with the Director to assist in creating and coordinating the respect life activities of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.  The Associate Director works in areas of education, pastoral care, public policy and prayer/worship, as outlined in the USCCB’s 2001 document, Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities:  A Campaign in Support of Life.

The Associate Director for Respect Life Ministries will oversee and help expand the Project Rachel post-abortion healing ministry, including networking with similar services by pregnancy care centers, and supervising the part-time coordinator;  assist in organization/coordination of annual March for Life trip; network with other respect life agencies on issues related to abortion, grief support, capital punishment, end of life care and disabilities, especially in the Dayton and Northern regions;  remain current on and advocate with local legislators for laws that support Catholic teaching on life issues; represent in a positive way in person and through electronic communication the Church’s teaching on respect life issues, especially through social media accounts;speak to adult and youth audiences on various respect life topics;represent the Archdiocese at respect life events; work collaboratively with the Director to create and publish the monthly Respect Life Newsletter, including design and composing content; work to establish regular healing opportunities for pregnancy loss and other bereavement issues; assist in editing and maintenance of the Respect Life and Project Rachel websites and help maintain the network for Respect Life Parish Coordinators, including informational trainings and opportunities for fellowship.

The Pastoral Center of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a part-time Northern Area Coordinator in the Catholic Social Action Office. This is a 21-hour position which combines the coordination of ministerial duties to the northern part of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati with a small amount of administrative assistant duties for the office.

The coordinator will assist in the Catholic Social Teaching formation and social ministry work in the St. Marys and Sidney Deaneries.  This position advances the Catholic Social Action Office’s mission to empower Catholics in the Archdiocese to celebrate and live out the Gospel call for life, human dignity, and care for God’s creation through Catholic Social Teaching formation, organized social ministries, and opportunities for public advocacy and action.

This position requires a high school diploma or the equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in office work and Catholic social justice ministry; understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and involvement in social justice issues; good phone and people skills, including an ability to relate well face-to-face with diverse constituencies; willingness to work as a team, both receiving direction and identifying solutions in a ministerial field; knowledge of modern office procedures and methods; knowledge of modern business communication; the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without constant supervision; the ability to handle and resolve recurring problems and attention to detail.

The Department of Pastoral Services of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking an Associate Director of the Mission Office. This position works under the direction of the Director of the Mission Office and, in the absence of the Director, assumes some of the duties, excluding financial, MCP (Missionary Co-op Plan) and personnel issues.

The Associate Director of the Mission Office encourages Catholics to engage in supporting mission activity through prayer, service, and fundraising/material support by providing promotion and communications for all activities of the office. Additionally, this position raises awareness and relevance of Catholic mission activity – global and local – within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

The Associate Director should possess a bachelor’s degree in theology, education or a related field and be willing to do further studies in current missiology.  Experience in fundraising, promotion, and communications (including social media) is required. The ideal candidate should have experience in mission or mission immersion trips; must be an active Catholic with strong commitment to and understanding of the post Vatican II church; must possess demonstrated ability in educational, management and organizational skills, as well as demonstrated oral and written communication skills; and must have working knowledge of computers, social media and website management.
