The Catholic Social Action Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a Regional Coordinator for the Greater Dayton area.

This is a 21-hour position that combines guidance and support for the Dayton-area justice collaborative, Weavers of Justice, and the Northern-area justice collaborative, Fields of Justice, with the more general support for the peace and justice ministries in the northern half of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, as well as a small amount of administrative assistance in the Dayton Office. The coordinator will assist in the Catholic Social Teaching formation and social ministry work in the deaneries in and north of Dayton. This position advances the Catholic Social Action Office’s mission to empower Catholics in the Archdiocese to celebrate and live out the Gospel call for life, human dignity, and care for God’s creation through Catholic Social Teaching formation, organized social ministries, and opportunities for public advocacy and action.

Desired qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent (required). Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Catholic social justice ministry and office work.
  • Understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and involvement in social justice issues.
  • Good phone and people skills, including an ability to relate well face-to-face with diverse constituencies
  • Willingness to work as a team, both receiving direction and identifying solutions in a ministerial field.
  • Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods, including telephone, e-mail, personal computer, word processing, copier, facsimile, scanner, and other office systems and record keeping.
  • Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda, minutes, and reports.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without constant supervision.
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
  • Attention to detail.

The Office of Life, Human Dignity and Charity in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a part-time Associate Director for Persons With Disabilities.

The Associate Director works with the Director to assist in creating and coordinating the ministry for persons with disabilities for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.  The Associate Director fully networks with other offices in the Archdiocese, as well as parishes, to create a culture of inclusion and meaningful participation within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

This position is hourly, part-time (25 hours per week) with a flexible schedule.

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a full-time Director for the Office of Divine Worship and Sacraments.

The Director of the Office for Divine Worship & Sacraments (ODWS) assists the Archbishop in his role as “high priest of the flock”, providing liturgical formation, assisting the Archbishop in making liturgical and sacramental policies, and by supporting the Church of Cincinnati in celebrating the sacraments and other celebrations of divine worship. Within the Center for Parish Vitality, the ODWS supports pastors and parish leaders in ensuring vibrant liturgical and sacramental life.

The Director of the Office for Divine Worship & Sacraments should possess the following qualifications: a minimum of an STL in Sacramental Theology/Liturgy, or a Master’s degree in Liturgy or Liturgical Studies with at least 10 years pastoral experience at the diocesan or parish level; working knowledge of the Church’s liturgical documents; excellent communication skills, written and verbal; the ability to work with clergy, pastoral ministers and the lay faithful; proficient in software such as Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with web platforms such as WordPress is desirable.

The Catholic Newman Center at Miami University in Oxford, OH is seeking a full-time Lay College Campus Minister.

The Lay College Campus Minister assists the priest Chaplain assigned to the Catholic Newman Center in providing the face of Jesus Christ and a Catholic presence to the students and faculty of Miami University. This position is intended to help lead the Catholic Newman Center, add long term stability, and strengthen the efforts to build a community of students well formed in prayer, the sacraments, and formation prepared to carry on the mission of Christ in the world.

This position requires dedication to and appreciation of the nature and mission of the Catholic Newman Center. The Lay College Campus Minister will need to take the time necessary to get to know the students. From the student and University perspective, the person filling this position is a full-fledged member of the Catholic Newman Center staff, so it will be important for him or her to act in a manner consistent with that view.

The Lay College Campus Minister is expected to collaborate closely and congenially with the entire staff of the Catholic Newman Center, as well as other constituents. The Lay College Campus Minister must be a model of professional conduct and always represent the Catholic Newman Center at Miami University and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati with honesty and integrity.

The Catholic Schools Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant IV.

The Administrative Assistant IV works with the Deputy Superintendent of Leadership and Licensure to facilitate the licensure application process for Educators, Educational Aides, Substitute Teachers and High School Coaches.  Supports documentation procedures for the Resident Educator Program and Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC).

This is a part-time (14 hours per week), hourly position.
