The Coordinator for Hispanic Youth Ministry is a critical member of the Hispanic Evangelization Team who works to live and execute the vision and mission of the Center for the New Evangelization in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The Coordinator serves the mission by coordinating archdiocesan youth and young adult evangelization efforts for Hispanics and supporting Hispanic youth and young adult evangelization efforts in parishes.

We are seeking a practicing Catholic in good standing with strong knowledge of the Catholic Church, including structure and doctrine. Passion for the Catholic faith. Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, Religious Education or related field. Youth ministry experience or the equivalent; knowledgeable about ministry to Hispanic youth. Must be fluent in Spanish and English with an extensive knowledge of Hispanic culture. Proficient in modern forms of media (e.g. social networking, online publication, etc.). Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills are essential. Team player; collaborative and enjoyable; pleasant and responsive; builds productive and mutually respectful relationships; creates trust; is open to constructive coaching and direction. Reliable; employs good judgment; meets deadlines; attends to duties as expected without day-to-day oversight and communicates any barriers or difficulties as quickly as possible; must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently. Hungry; looks for opportunities for personal growth; seeks formation in all areas that could be useful to the position; seeks further schooling if lacking in a particular area.

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is actively seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Superintendent of Catholic Schools/Director of Educational Services. The Director works with the Archbishop and other Department Directors planning for and administering to the Archdiocese; supervises, coordinates, and develops programs, policies, and services for the Department of Educational Services. The Director advises the Archbishop on policy matters pertaining to the department and serves as the liaison to the broader community in Catholic education in the Archdiocese. The Director of the Department of Educational Services also serves as the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese. As Superintendent, the Director leads the Catholic Schools Office in providing leadership, support, and oversight of the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese. Must have a strong commitment to Catholic education; be visionary and forward thinking. Must possess at least a master’s degree in educational administration (doctorate preferred); at least five years’ experience in Catholic school administration and management, preferably as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent; must be a practicing Catholic in communion with the Church. Must be able to obtain certification/licensure as a superintendent in the State of Ohio; be knowledgeable of local, state, and federal regulations; have experience with budget and fiscal planning, marketing and strategic enrollment management, donor relations, communication, educational best practices, and current opportunities and challenges impacting Catholic schools in Cincinnati. He/she must be knowledgeable of the State of Ohio’s unique relationship with non-public schools.

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati Pastoral Center is looking to hire a full-time Program Coordinator for the Center for Parish Vitality. The Program Coordinator supports the Director and other staff in executing programs, events, communications, and other initiatives to support pastors and parish leaders in building healthy and growing parishes. In support of the areas of pastoral planning, strategic planning, worship, and sacraments, and/or leadership formation, the Program Coordinator implements the vision of the Center for Parish Vitality.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, project management, communications, infomatics, or related degree or equivalent; experience as a parish staffer or committed volunteer is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Must have strong organizational and project management skills. Familiarity with software such as Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Active Campaign, and other modern digital platforms is important. Demonstrated fluency with web development software like WordPress is preferred. Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.

The Associate Director for Youth Evangelization Programs must be a missionary disciple passionate about introducing young people to Jesus Christ and His Church. This individual must have a regular prayer life centered on intimacy with Christ and be able to pray easily with others. He or she advances and extends the archbishop’s evangelization efforts through programs that minister directly to youth, with primary responsibility for coordinating all aspects of the Totus Tuus program. Key tasks will include general administrative responsibilities, budgeting, recruiting and training missionaries, encouraging and accompanying missionaries in their work, and retreat planning. The Associate Director works under the supervision of the Managing Director for Parish Evangelization as a member of the Parish Support Team in the Center for the New Evangelization (CNE).

 

The Associate Director collaborates closely and congenially with the entire staff of the CNE and the Department of Communication & Evangelization, as well as other archdiocesan offices. The Associate Director for Youth Evangelization Programs must be a model of professional conduct and always represent the Archdiocese of Cincinnati with honesty and integrity.

The Catholic Newman Center at Miami University is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time position as Administrative Assistant.  The Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the daily administrative tasks necessary to run the Campus Ministry are accomplished in a timely and high quality fashion. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will be expected to perform a wide variety of secretarial tasks and some important activities related to development.
