This paraprofessional will assist students with Autism under the direction of an Intervention Specialist. This individual must be able to meet the needs of students and care for their physical environment, emotional health, and safety while affirming their abilities, making educational progress, and striving to promote dignity in all relationships.

Paraeducators assist the general education teachers in a wide range of duties including:
-Day to day tasks and the active supervision of students with disabilities.
-Working collaboratively with the teachers, family members, other staff, and all members of the student’s educational team, to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.
-Following instructions from teachers and implementing daily educational strategies.
-Providing a safe and effective learning environment for the student.
