Grades K-8: Religion Teacher – Full-Time/Part-Time, Depending on Candidate: Corryville Catholic is seeking a mission-driven Religion Teacher to join our team in a full-time of part-time capacity, depending on the strengths and availability of the selected candidate.  This individual will play a key role in supporting students’ spiritual development while fostering a deeper understanding of Catholic faith, values, and traditions in alignment with our school’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach religion classes to students in grades K–8 (or a subset, based on schedule and need)

  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages prayer, reflection, and respect for all

  • Help students develop a personal relationship with God while understanding the teachings of the Catholic Church

  • Collaborate with the principal and other teachers to plan and support weekly prayer services and monthly Mass

  • Uphold all school policies and expectations for professional conduct and student engagement

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of Catholic teaching and tradition

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field (required)

  • Teaching license or appropriate catechetical certification preferred

  • Experience teaching or working with children in a faith-based setting

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a warm, structured learning environment

Schedule and Compensation:  This position can be structured as full-time or part-time depending on the candidate’s experience and availability. Compensation will be competitive and aligned with qualifications and scope of responsibilities.
