The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori (GSCM) is located in the Madison Place neighborhood of Columbia Township, Ohio, on a 13-acre campus. Serving over 200 students from Preschool through 8th Grade, GSCM provides an education that is both deeply Catholic and authentically Montessori. Our mission is simple: Always Catholic. Position Overview
GSCM is seeking a part-time Physical Education Teacher to serve students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Physical Education at GSCM supports the development of the whole child through purposeful movement, skill-building, and cooperative play. Our 13-acre campus provides open green space and outdoor areas where classes take place throughout the year, allowing students to engage with movement in a natural setting.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children across developmental stages and brings a steady, encouraging presence to the class. The P.E. teacher values structure and safety while creating an environment where students can grow in confidence, perseverance, and respect for one another. Montessori experience is preferred, but not required.

This is a part-time position (approximately 11.75 hours per week) with the following schedule:
Monday 11:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. | Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Friday 12:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate PE instruction for Kindergarten through 8th Grade
Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Maintain safe and organized equipment and activity spaces

Qualifications
Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain licensure by August 2026)
Experience working with elementary and middle school students
Ability to meet Archdiocese of Cincinnati SafeParish requirements
Successful completion of a background check prior to employment
