The Athenaeum of Ohio/Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Cincinnati is seeking a proven culinary professional with strong management and interpersonal skills to fill the key role of Assistant Manager in the Refectory. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities include: planning and preparing daily meals for our community of over 100 students, faculty, and staff; providing a variety of fresh, appetizing, and nutritious options; maintaining a clean and healthy kitchen/dining environment; assisting with inventory, managing food costs, and ensuring quality control; and preparing and serving meals to guests at special events.

Qualifications include: knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures; a minimum of 2 years in a food prep/service role; excellent customer service skills; and physical capability (able to lift up to 40 lbs., prolonged standing). Formal culinary training and ServSafe Certification is a plus.

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is now hiring full-time and part-time pro-life Field Representatives promote a culture of life in Ohio. Field Representatives go to targeted doors in their community to conduct a simple survey on pro-life issues with voters. Field Representatives’ starting pay is $15/hour with .30/mile expense reimbursement for their travels. Hours are flexible (up to 40 hours per week). The Community of the Good Shepherd, located in Montgomery, Ohio, is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance person who will work with our maintenance team to help maintain our 90,000 square foot campus, and 13 acres of land. The successful candidate will also perform routine repairs to maintain continuous and effective operations. Candidates must be able to lift and maneuver heavy objects safely, and work independently. Mechanical skills (i.e., electrical/wiring) and plumbing, painting, carpentry, etc. are an added plus! The person in this position will work closely with the Director of Facilities, and two other maintenance staff members. The person in this role must have the ability to communicate professionally, and be able to work cooperatively. Qualified candidates should be flexible and able to prioritize tasks.
