The Community of the Good Shepherd is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance person who will work to maintain the buildings and equipment to provide continuous, effective operations and perform routine repairs. Candidates must have mechanical skills, i.e., electric/wiring, plumbing, painting, carpentry, etc., must be able to lift and maneuver heavy objects safely, and work independently. The person in this position will work closely with the Facility Director. Previous work experience should include comprehensive maintenance and cleaning plan for a large facility, ability to communicate tactfully and respectfully, and work in a cooperative way with pastor, parish staff members and parishioners. Archbishop Moeller High School is seeking a School Compliance Specialist. 

Executive Summary

The School Compliance Specialist is a key partner on a solid team. Working together with the Principals Office and the Business Office, this Specialist is the owner and clearinghouse of all information related to compliance with various government and non-governmental agencies, especially as regards background checks, professional licenses, HR data, employee and student demographic data, etc. The Specialist also assists in executing projects related to special funding as sources become available.

Selected Duties

  • Serves as School’s Safe Environment Coordinator, coordinating background checks and onboarding for new employees and maintaining compliance for existing employees
  • Maintains personnel data and HR records in cooperation with CFO and Principal
  • Prepares reports to various government/oversight entities such as:
    • Archdiocese of Cincinnati such as Low Income (LINC), Educator Data Center (EDC), Vocare (for Teacher-Ministers of Religion)
    • OCSAA such as Annual Verification Standards report (AVS), Student Standard Survey Form (SSSF), faculty licensure requirements, certifying coaches for the Athletics department
    • Sycamore Schools such as Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA), Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER), Cares Act Funding, Coronavirus Relief Funding (CRF), Title II and Title IV funding and reimbursement
    • Ohio Department of Education such as Non-Public Data System (NPDS), Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan (CCIP), Administrative Cost Reimbursement (ACR), Average Daily Membership (ADM)
  • Assists with School accreditation process, maintains School’s various licenses/registrations (such as  DUNS and SAM) for federal funding as well as budgeting with various funding opportunities
  • Maintains the School’s records regarding employee anniversaries, FTE count, etc.
  • Stays appraised of special state and federal funding opportunities and maximizes their utilization for the School
  • Various related duties assigned as needed

Qualifications

  • Candidates will have a several years of experience in a similar role which requires the management of several complicated, deadline-driven projects at one time. Experience within a high school environment is a plus
  • Candidates will demonstrate unimpeachable confidentiality
  • Candidates should have experience, and ideally, training or certification with MS Word and Excel

Archbishop Moeller High School is seeking a full-time Program Manager of State Scholarships.

Executive Summary

The Program Manager of State Scholarships administers two key programs, the Jon Peterson Scholarship and the Ohio Ed Choice program. The Program Manager will interact regularly with the administration, faculty, counselors, students, parents, local school districts as well as the Ohio Department of Education. The Program Manager administers every aspect of the programs ensuring that the School remains in compliance.

The Program Manager is the campus expert on both programs, staying appraised of developments at the State level, maintaining regular communication with the State and Archdiocese, informing School leadership of potential changes, and advising on strategy to ensure the School is utilizing the programs most effectively for our families.

 

Selected Duties

Maintain the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship (JPSN) Program at Moeller

  • Maintain the School’s registration for JPSN eligibility
  • Establish working relationships with both Sycamore’s Office of Student Services, and  other home school districts
  • Maintain the JPSN Parent Handbook and other training materials, including roles and responsibilities for Moeller, service providers, parents & students and students’ home school district
  • Maintain Moeller’s active registration as a JPSN Service Provider
  • Assist with ETR, IEP and other required evaluations and compliance requirements
  • Prepare reports on school compliance with required regulations.  Coordinate process improvements as needed
  • Implements best practices and networks with other regional JPSN parochial, private and public schools
  • Manage billing of JPSN program, maintain budget and record and process ODE checks upon receipt

Maintain the Ohio Ed Choice Program

  • Collect and organize all Ed Choice documentation and submit to Ohio Department of Education
  • Work with families through application process, documentation corrections and verifying award status
  • Main correspondence with Ohio Department of Education regarding all Ed Choice inquiries
  • Follow up and maintain awards, refunds and/or status changes
  • Coordinate and update scholarships for tuition accounts with Tuition Manager and Financial Aid Manager
  • Record and process ODE checks upon receipt

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have (at least) an associates degree in a relevant field (i.e. business, education) and have demonstrable, relatable experience in implementing a complex program similar to Ed Choice or JPSN.

The Catholic Newman Center at Miami University in Oxford, OH is seeking a full-time Lay College Campus Minister.

The Lay College Campus Minister assists the priest Chaplain assigned to the Catholic Newman Center in providing the face of Jesus Christ and a Catholic presence to the students and faculty of Miami University. This position is intended to help lead the Catholic Newman Center, add long term stability, and strengthen the efforts to build a community of students well formed in prayer, the sacraments, and formation prepared to carry on the mission of Christ in the world.

The Family Parishes of Corpus Christi, St. John Neumann and St. John the Baptist in Cincinnati is seeking a Pastoral Associate for Youth Ministry.  This full-time position is designed to be a leader and resource person to all ministries within the parish relating to young people and families.  This includes Confirmation sacramental preparation and Youth Ministry.

Candidates must be practicing Catholics with well-developed leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry, theology, or related field is required. Experience in religious education, teaching, or catechism is ideal, but not required.

The Family Parishes are diverse parish communities of 3,200 households.
