The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Coordinator for Hispanic Youth Ministry. The Coordinator is a critical member of the Hispanic Evangelization Team who works to live and execute the vision and mission of the Center for the New Evangelization in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The Coordinator serves the mission by coordinating archdiocesan youth and young adult evangelization efforts for Hispanics and supporting Hispanic youth and young adult evangelization efforts in parishes.

St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish is seeking candidates to apply for the position of COORDINATOR OF YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY.   

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, under the supervision of the Pastoral Associate for Evangelization and Catechesis.  The Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry aims to attract youth and young adults to a life-giving encounter with Jesus through personal witness, effective teaching, community building, and discipleship-making.  The coordinator will demonstrate a thorough understanding of John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, and be able to transmit it and the Church’s teachings in a way that is both richly informative and deeply transformative. 

Duties include, but not limited to:

· Recruit, train and mentor youth and young adult leaders, as well as core team volunteers, to implement the eight components of youth ministry as found in Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry, USCCB, 1997
· Schedule, plan and lead weekly and seasonal youth and young adult events throughout the year
· Create, guide, and/or lead youth and young adult retreats
· Organize trips to local, diocesan, national and international youth and young adult events
· Submits, manages, and maintains a budget for youth and young adult ministry
· All other things deemed necessary by the supervisor or pastor

Preferred Qualifications:

· Active member of a Catholic Parish
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or related field
· Certificate in Youth Ministry from a diocese or National Association of Catholic Youth Ministry Leaders
· Previous, relevant experience

Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license (or be eligible for one).  Before starting the position, the coordinator must be fingerprinted, complete a background check, and be enrolled and/or current with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati SafeParish child protection training.

The Jesuit Spiritual Center, a Catholic retreat center, in Milford, Ohio seeks post-graduate students interested in pursuing ministry. This is a 1–2 year paid internship working as a member of the Youth Ministry team.

Interns live in community on the grounds of the Center in the renovated historic Rock House. They will develop skills in retreat ministry including planning, preparing, and facilitating youth retreats, leading small and large group activities.

Interns will also have the opportunity to make the 19th Annotation of the Spiritual Exercises, receive spiritual formation, attend professional conferences, and gain business experience, particularly in the operations of a non-profit organization.

The Department of Communication & Evangelization in the Center for the New Evangelization of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking an Associate Director for Hispanic Evangelization.

The Associate Director for Hispanic Evangelization promotes and safeguards the teaching mission of the Church and exercises this teaching authority as delegated by the Archbishop. The Associate Director is expected to develop a strong understanding of the Hispanic Catholic communities across the archdiocese and build productive, collaborative relationships within those. The Associate Director works as a member of the Hispanic Evangelization Team under the direction of the Managing Director in providing diocesan oversight for Hispanic ministries in parishes, advocacy for the needs of the Hispanic community, and formation and certification of Hispanic leaders.

This part-time position (non-exempt) would assist the Pastor and several staff members with secretarial and administrative functions for the Eastside Family. This is a wonderful opportunity to share Jesus’ love as you welcome people to the office, help support the ministry of the priests and other staff in our parish family, work with others on the phone, organize correct data systems for helping parishioners in their faith journey.   • Performs many of the secretarial/administrative job responsibilities for the parish including but not limited to answering phones, handling questions about policies, procedures, and events, greeting visitors with a warm welcome, and referring questions and people to the responsible departments in the parish family.
  • The assistant will have strong organizational and computer skills, maintain confidentiality and be self-motivated. Gabriel Software Experience and knowledge of G-Suites a plus but not required.
  • The assistant provides secretarial and clerical support for the parish office operations and assists accounting as needed.
