The Our Lady of Light Family of Parishes, which includes the Church of the Incarnation and St. Francis campuses, is seeking an administrative assistant.  This is a full-time position.  Those interested in this position will be provide administrative support for the Director of Worship and other members of the staff as required and approved by the supervisor. Primary responsibilities include funeral preparation, church calendar tracking for worship, and other general administrative activities.

Practices a collaborative style of ministerial leadership, evangelization and relationship development to recruit, develop and direct volunteer musicians, lead assembly music, select liturgical music from a variety of cultural and musical styles, and provide catechetical and spiritual formation for student choir directors, music ministers, and assemblies.

Primary responsibilities are as follows:
Answer phone calls, record clear and accurate messages, answer routine questions, greets and assist parish visitors in a professional and friendly manner, maintain and keep updated hard copy and electronic information for the RE Office, maintain sacramental records appropriately, perform appropriate data entry functions, assist in preparing for faith formation programs and Sunday classes, coordinate and follow up with volunteer training compliance, assist and support the CRE in accomplishing parish and office goals as needed.

Qualifications for the ideal candidate include:
Working knowledge and proficiency of using personal computers and office software programs, specifically Microsoft Office and Google, must be organized and have the ability to effectively and professionally communicate verbally and in writing, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a variety of persons, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
