Saint Luke, Beavercreek, is looking for a full-time coordinator to shepherd both youth and young adult faith formation and to foster its integration into parish life under the direction of the Pastor and Director of Evangelization.  Position responsibilities include administration, leadership and in-house training-support to peer (youth) and adult volunteers in a variety of programming that invites a maturing personal faith in daily life and Church experiences. The position involves team work with three other parish faith coordinators ( early childhood and PSR, adult and the parochial school ) in parish-wide and family-focused formation.   Applicants need a personal faith, commitment to formation and team ministry, an appropriate background (degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education),  or 5+ years of experience in youth ministry), social media and computer skills and an ability to work with volunteers and staff. The Position:  The Pastoral Associate for Adult Faith Formation creates and executes a multi-dimensional approach to forming the faith of adults in the parish from initial conversion to Christ through growth as missionary disciples.  The Pastoral Associate will offer special emphasis toward young families and adults while providing opportunities for all adult age groups.  The successful candidate is creative, a self-starter and well-grounded in Church teaching and evangelization skills.  This position works in a team environment with the Pastor, staff, and volunteers and requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Education/Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies or Education with a major focus in Theology.  Experience in parish ministry with adults is preferred.

Applicant should be a practicing Catholic in good standing.

In meeting the needs of the pastor and parish community, the candidate will have a flexible work schedule.  Weekday office hours, evening and weekend hours are required. This is a full-time position with benefits. Part-time and work-at-home options may be considered for the right candidate.

The Catholic Newman Center at Miami University in Oxford, OH is seeking a part-time (13 hours per week) Music Minister.

The Music Minister is responsible for providing liturgical music for Masses and prayer services on Sundays and occasionally weekdays during the academic year. The Music Minister is also responsible for recruiting student music ministers/cantors and leading their rehearsals.

This position requires dedication to and appreciation of the nature and mission of the Catholic Newman Center. The Music Minister will need to take the time necessary to get to know students. From the student and University perspective, the person filling this position is a full-fledged member of the Catholic Newman Center staff, so it will be imperative for him or her to act in a manner consistent with that view.

The Music Minister is expected to collaborate closely and congenially with the entire staff of the Catholic Newman Center, as well as other constituents. The Music Minister must be a model of professional conduct and always represent The Catholic Newman Center and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati with honesty and integrity.

The music director/minister is to prepare music selections and conduct weekly Sunday morning choir rehearsals before Mass, as well as weeknight rehearsals as needed, particularly in preparation for Advent, Christmas, Triduum and Easter. She/he is also responsible to attend monthly meetings and participate as an active member of the Prayer and Worship Ministry. She/he should also accompany and direct music for all Community liturgies. This includes our weekly 10:30am Sunday celebrations, Triduum services, Holy days of obligation, Reconciliation services and all funerals (when available). The piano is our main instrument of use though there is an organ too though not used as much. Salary is negotiable DOE.

The Northeast 3 Family of Parishes seeks to hire a faithful and dynamic Catholic as a Director of Evangelization. This position is full-time with some evenings and weekends, working 40+ hours per week. The role of this position is to serve as a member of and oversee a pastoral team responsible for catechetical programs and evangelization ministries proportionally at six parishes. This leadership and catechesis are important parts of making disciples of Jesus Christ, for which the parishes exist. The Director is a person who is a fully initiated and practicing member of the Catholic Church. A degree in Theology or Catholic Studies is preferred along with experience in leading and implementing religious education programs.
