The University of Dayton Campus Ministry seeks to welcome a Campus Minister for Neighborhood and Retreats to our dynamic ministry team. Pursue your vocation in ministry with one of the largest ministry teams in Catholic higher education while creatively developing and implementing opportunities for spiritual growth, evangelization, outreach and pastoral accompaniment. Inspired by our Catholic Marianist charism, the ideal candidate will exhibit a spirit of hospitality and be a catalyst who invites young adults into faith communities that are both gathered and sent in discipleship. Ideal candidates will also invite students to transformative relationships with God and one another as they pursue their vocations. Ministry is primarily among upper division students who live in the student neighborhood on campus. Develops and coordinates student leadership for retreats, creates community-building and faith development activities and resources, and fosters faith-based student leadership development among a diverse student body. Supervises student workers, responds to students in crisis and provides ongoing pastoral care for students.

This is a full-time, 10-month exempt position with full benefits including healthcare, employee and dependent tuition remission, schedule flexibility to accommodate some late night/weekend ministry, professional development, matching retirement contributions, and more. Music is an integral part of our Catholic worship and liturgies.  Based out of St. Albert Church, a part of the Family of Parishes of the Kettering Catholic Community (Ascension, St. Albert and St. Charles), we seek a gifted and talented Director of Music.

Responsibilities include the overall implementation of music ministries at the St. Albert facilities.  The director plans and provides music for weekend Masses, major feasts and weddings/funerals.  The director also coordinates choir and cantor ministries.  All work is done in conjunction with applicable Church guidelines and documents.

The director will be a key member of the parish staff.  The musicians based at the other Family of Parish locations have been in consultation with each another looking forward to the opportunities and possibilities of our future together.  Candidate should be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.  Experience in a parish is a plus.  Position is currently full-time.  Full-time employees receive a competitive compensation program and full benefits. Position could be part-time depending on the needs of both the parish location and the candidate.
