This role involves organizing various fundraising campaigns and activities for Incarnation church and school, as well as large-scale fundraising initiatives, working with parish members, developing an annual fund and building relationships with donors, staff and volunteers. The development director will also implement major giving and planned giving fundraising strategies. They should have an established background in coordinating nonprofit donation strategies and staff/volunteer leadership.

A Full Time Pastoral Associate/ Administrative Assistant is needed for St. Joseph/St. Raphael/ St. Charles parishes in Springfield, OH.

Primary duties include:

Managing and posting to various social media formats including Facebook and the parish website
Preparing and editing the weekly parish bulletin
Assisting other pastoral staff with various parish programs including our Vacation Bible School, CCD, and RCIA
Coordinating volunteers for decorating the church, arranging flowers, and other activities
Entering and editing donations and other parishioner information into our database

Strong communication skills a must, along with strong computer skills to include using databases and Microsoft Publisher, Excel, Word, etc.

St. John the Baptist Parish in Tipp City, OH is seeking a part-time Custodian.

The Custodian provides coordinated janitorial services for the church and facilities. Cleans and maintains church, office areas, classrooms, washrooms, restrooms, drinking fountains, banquet hall and kitchen areas as needed. Cleans walls, windows, dusting, mopping, vacuuming and assist with waxing floors. Will assist with maintaining stock of required janitorial supplies. Will coordinate activities with Maintenance Supervisor and Business Manager as needed.

St. John the Baptist Parish in Tipp City, OH is seeking a part-time Maintenance Supervisor.

This position requires knowledge to perform minor to moderate repair of dry wall, electrical, plumbing both indoor and outdoor as needed; attend to water heaters and HVAC units; works with vendors as needed; performs other tasks as directed; oversees janitor and works with office personnel to prepare for banquets, holidays, funerals etc.; housekeeping tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fuses and janitorial work may be required; order supplies and tools; work with entry and fire systems as needed.

Position Summary

Promotes the Mission of the Sisters of the Precious Blood “to be a life-giving, reconciling presence in our fractured world” through education, advocacy and action on issues of justice according to the circumstances of our time. Represents the Sisters of the Precious Blood by networking and participating with local, state, and national organizations relevant to social justice and ecological issues in keeping with the priorities of the Congregation.

As a passionate advocate for systemic change, the Peace, Justice and Ecology Coordinator will work closely and collaborate with other CPPS congregations and not-for-profit organizations to address systemic change.

Primary Responsibilities

Serves as a resource person to educate and provide opportunities that will lead the Congregation to a deeper understanding of the root causes of injustice that undermines peace and environmental sustainability.
Sets annual goals, in consultation with the leadership team, to advance Congregational initiatives as established by the Assembly directives.
Stays abreast of and as possible, actively collaborates with other women religious congregations and organizations e.g. (LCWR, NBCC, UISG, GV, AHMLA etc.).
Stays abreast of current national and state legislative actions that address the Congregation’s interests and communicates to appropriate audiences any opportunities to engage with legislators at the local/state/national level.
Works closely with the leadership liaison and participates with internal committees/teams involved in peace and justice efforts.
Prepares and monitors an annual budget and provides a monthly report to the leadership team for justice and peace efforts.
In collaboration with the Communications Office, promotes internal and external awareness of prominent issues and actions being taken on them. Prepares public statements on matters of social justice.

Requirements and Qualifications

Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a passion for social justice.
Minimum of three years’ experience in social justice advocacy or direct service to the poor, marginalized and the excluded.
Direct working understanding of Catholic Social Teaching.
