This full time, salaried position will serve as The Director of Liturgical Music and Worship for the Beacons of Light S4 family of parishes as principal musician, organist, and choir director. Majority of playing time will be at Our Lady of the Valley Parish for two weekend masses, funerals, weddings and holy days.  Director will work towards unifying the mass music for the S4 family and the current part time musicians.  Also, according to Beacons of Light Pastoral Planning Pathway, this person will create a vision for a Eucharist-centered parish family, form a Family Worship Commission and ensure that the commission fulfills the established vision.  The candidate should be a practicing Roman Catholic. St. James the Greater (White Oak-Cincinnati) is seeking candidates for the position of Coordinator of Religious Education.  Applicants must be practicing Catholics.

The CRE will be responsible for guiding the faith formation for our K-8  level children.  This includes working with the administrators and staff in our grade school (603 students), supporting the Family of parishes PSR program (Parish School of Religion for students in public schools), Sunday pre-school program and management of Summer Bible Camp.

Recommended qualifications: a Bachelor’s  degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or commensurate experience.

The Archdiocese of Indianapolis is seeking a full time Director of Pastoral Ministries in our downtown Indianapolis location. This is an onsite role, Monday – Thursday (Fridays off).

The Director of Pastoral Ministries provides leadership and guidance to many ministry offices within the Archdiocese including Youth Ministry, Young Adult and College Campus Ministries, Ecumenism and Interreligious Affairs, Intercultural Ministries, Marriage and Family Life, Human Life and Dignity, and Corrections.

This role works to promote teamwork, foster collaboration within these ministries as well as other secretariats, and to enhance the service and the resources provided to the parishes, schools, and agencies of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. The Director of Pastoral Ministries will ensure the strategic vision is executed within these various ministries, ensuring that evangelization, catechesis and missionary discipleship permeate throughout. This role will provide guidance to ministry directors to support the formation its leaders and ministries, serving as a resource and advisor within the Archdiocese to promote participation in ministries and programs. Promote full, conscious and active participation in the liturgical and sacramental life of the Church in a manner that respects inter-cultural and inter-generational diversity.

Requirements for candidates include being a practicing Roman Catholic with bachelor’s degree in theology or a related field and a solid formation in the doctrine and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Experience in supervising and leading others and the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred.
