The Parish Family of St. Columbkille (800 households) and St. Augustine (200 households) is accepting applications for the position of Director of Faith Formation.  The Director provides overall leadership and direction for the SE1 family of parishes Religious Education programs, Pre-K through Adult as well as parish and family wide faith experiences including the R.C.I A. process.  The Director administers (designs, develops, directs, and evaluates) all parish family catechetical and evangelizing programs for the combined parish family with the help of the St. Augustine CRE.  Applicant needs to be familiar with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, family-based catechesis as well as familiarity with Life Teen.  The Director will assist in articulating a clear mission/vision for evangelization to the family of parishes. We are looking for a missionary disciple who is a fully initiated and practicing member of the Catholic Church.  A degree in Theology/Catechetics or Certification in Parish Catechetical Leadership is preferred.

Our ideal candidate will have strong, practical experience with digital media in general, social media, digital marketing, videography, content development and management, and cross-platform optimization. We prefer at least a (non-specific) undergraduate degree, and previous successful work experience in communications. Strong writing skills are a must, and an understanding of the law as it applies to intellectual property and media in general would be helpful. In addition to regular weekday office hours, evening and weekend assignments may occur regularly.
