Blessed Sacrament Parish, in Ft. Mitchell, KY, seeks a full-time music director to begin on June 12. Candidates should be well versed in vocal/choral music, and proficient in organ and piano accompaniment. The parish has a Kilgen Pipe organ which recently underwent restorative work, as well as concert quality pianos. The music director will be responsible for planning and preparing music for three weekend liturgies, two school liturgies, directing an adult choir, two children’s choirs, a string ensemble and a Handbell choir. Opportunities for additional compensation come from wedding and funeral stipends. Knowledge of music notation software and publishing software (Microsoft Publisher or Adobe) are important. St Peter Huber Heights is looking for an Associate Director of Liturgy and Worship.  The Associate Director is a full-time (40 hours), exempt, professionally qualified minister who works under the guidance and supervision of the Region Director of Liturgy and Worship. You will be responsible for the Liturgy and Worship activities of NE-10 with primary performance responsibilities at St. Peter Parish. You will be responsible for music at three weekend Masses and the associate ensembles, one to two school Masses per week, as well as funerals and other liturgies. The Associate Director will also Assist the Director in overseeing the lay liturgical ministers in the region and all activities of the Worship Commissions.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about liturgy, an accomplished organist and vocalist, and an enthusiastic follower of Christ. Pay is commensurate with experience and in compliance with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati pay scale.

Requirements

  • Active, practicing Catholic
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance, Pastoral Ministry, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in parish music or liturgical ministry or related field

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) is the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s graduate-level Catholic Seminary and School of Theology. Founded in 1829, MTSM provides preparation for ordination to the priesthood and permanent diaconate as part of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary. We seek a highly-skilled communications professional to lead the flow of information between MTSM’s Advancement Office and the public. The Communications & Marketing Specialist must be a technically savvy problem solver who plans and executes marketing strategies for Development & Alumni Relations; writes and designs a variety of print and other materials; and manages the organization’s website and social media presence. The position reports to the Vice President for Development and Relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement the Advancement Office’s marketing and communications strategy.
  • Write & design promotional materials for print and digital dissemination.
  • Create and direct the organization’s social media and online presence.
  • Write, edit, design and in some cases publish content for both print and digital including the organization’s website, brochures and other materials.
  • Manage and direct the work of creative talent as needed.
  • Assist in the planning, executing and marketing of all events.
  • Serve as an evangelist for the mission utilizing all communications channels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing or communications position, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience planning and managing social media accounts and website digital presence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Commitment to the mission and message of the Catholic Church and the ability to communicate it clearly and effectively.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
