The Blessed Trinity Family of Parishes is seeking a full time Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation. The Pastoral Associate is responsible for overseeing and implementing all faith formation within the parish family for both youth and adults. Primary responsibilities will be to lead the Family Faith K-6 parish religious education program, prepare children for 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion, lead the RCIA program and Safe Harbor Coordinator. The NW-2 Family of Parishes including St Patrick – Glynwood, St Teresa – Rockford, Our Lady of Guadalupe- Montezuma, Holy Rosary-St Marys, Immaculate Conception-Celina, is seeking a Director of Evangelization. The Director of Evangelization is responsible for supervising and managing the Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams at NW-2 Family of Parishes. The Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams includes Coordinators and Youth Ministers for Youth (K-5), Youth (6-12), Adult Evangelization, and Marriage and Family Evangelization. The Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams are responsible for all efforts of accompanying youth, adults, and families through the Process of Evangelization so that the parish is creating missionary disciples.  The Director of Evangelization must be able to articulate and implement a clear vision/mission for Evangelization to parents, youth, staff, and parishioners.

 

Strongly prefer a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or related field, or commensurate ministry experience. Must have spiritual maturity, defined as a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who is faithful to the Magisterium, consistent in one’s prayer life, regularly receiving the sacraments, and able to speak of one’s relationship with Jesus. Must have a broad understanding of and ability to articulate Church teaching regarding evangelization, catechesis, prayer, sacraments, and ecclesiology. Must have experience mentoring and accompanying adults at different stages of the discipleship path. Must be able to pray in front of and with others, to lead and participate in spontaneous prayer. Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people using the spoken word, both within one-on-one coaching/mentoring situations and in large group settings. As an integral part of the Vincentian Services team, the Volunteer Program Coordinator will interact with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to recruit and productively deploy a diverse pool of volunteers to compassionately serve our neighbors. He or she will provide volunteer opportunities that engage volunteers and suit their abilities, schedules, and desired experience, while offering them fulfilling service opportunities that introduce them to the Vincentian charism and way of serving.  While delivering fulfilling volunteer experiences, the coordinator will model our mission and values and advance SVDP’s community impact. This is a Tuesday-Saturday role, with occasional evening hours, mainly for holidays and special events.
