RL Coordinator Resources March 2025

RL Resources: March 2025

This section is dedicated to providing seasonal resources for Parish Respect Life Coordinators If there is a resource that you believe would be useful to include, please contact us at respectlife@catholicaoc.org.

1 | Word of Life

This month’s WORD OF LIFE includes resources to commemorate the anniversary of the 1995 papal encyclical, EVANGELIUM VITAE, including several bulletin inserts and a study guide for individual or group study use.   As always, the issue includes weekly intercessions for life, bulletin inserts, and more! Available in ENGLISH and SPANISH.

2 | St. Joseph Adoption Novena

This month, the USCCB is promoting a ST. JOSEPH ADOPTION NOVENA from March 10-18, leading up to the Solemnity of St. Joseph on March 19. Each day includes short Scriptural passages and prayers and focuses on a different group of people who are involved in the adoption process. You may download the novena from the webpage above, or subscribe for daily emails or texts. Resources are also available on the page to promote in your parish or school.

3 | 40 Days for Life

The next 40 Days for Life vigil starts March 5 (Ash Wednesday) and runs through April 13 (Palm Sunday.)  This is a wonderful way to enter prayerfully into the Lenten season, while praying for the unborn and the mothers who feel like this is their best option. There are vigils being organized in Cincinnati, Dayton and Hamilton.  Check out the 40 DAYS FOR LIFE page, choose your location and sign up!

4 | 9 Months with Christ in the Womb

Consider having your parish family participate in our nine month meditation on the fetal life of Christ entitled 9 MONTHS WITH CHRIST IN THE WOMB. This campaign offers short reflections for your parish bulletin each week from March 25 to Christmas morning, during which we prayerfully chart where Our Lord Jesus Christ is in his fetal development. It also includes 9 monthly reflections on a different biblical story during the earliest moments of Christ’s time on earth, discussing the importance of a different social issue such as immigration, the death penalty, and concern for those with disabilities. Additionally, prayer cards are available for you to order and hand out to your parishioners. Everything is available in both English and Spanish. All the resources can be downloaded HERE.
