The Catholic Conference of Ohio, the official representative of the Catholic Church in matters of
public policy, is seeking an Associate Director for Communications and Outreach to join a
dedicated team working to address issues affecting the Church and the common good.

In collaboration with the Executive Director and other staff, the Associate Director will manage
the Conference’s social media, website, and advocacy and outreach strategies designed to
increase engagement with and awareness of state-level legislative priorities. These priorities
include respect life, education, families, social and economic justice, religious liberty, and care
for the environment. The Associate Director must be a model of professional conduct and always
represent the Catholic Conference and the Catholic Bishops of Ohio with honesty and integrity.

The Director of Campus Ministry is responsible for the evangelization of Indiana University students. The Director aims to foster conversion and growth in discipleship among the students of IU, to develop a welcoming community, to animate and equip students to evangelize, and to accompany seekers or returning Catholics. The Director is responsible for coordinating Campus Ministry programming and outreach efforts that are student-focused, allow for building personal relationships with students, and provide formation for increasing missionary disciples on campus. The Director will work closely with the pastor and associate pastors and will oversee the work of the FOCUS missionaries, Campus Ministry Interns, and the Student Leadership Team.

The person in this position is to promote the evangelization of non-Christians* by directing and supervising efforts toward, and personally being involved in, deepening relationships, promoting dialogue, living charity, and prophetically and prudently sharing the fullness of the gospel, with non-Christians. The Director will supervise those holding the position of Lay Evangelizer within Glenmary.

The Director of Evangelization is a co-worker of the Glenmary Home Missioners with the expectation s/he will adopt the missionary charism of Glenmary. This position, within Glenmary, is one of leadership ministry, under the supervision of the Chair of the Evangelization Commission (or delegate), and in collaboration with the Commission.

*The target audience for this position is non-Christians. This target audience is delineated as individuals who self-identify, or are living, as ‘unaffiliated,’ ‘unchurched,’ or NONEs (indicating that they have no religious preference), even though they may have some background in Christianity. Though the Director of Evangelization will likely engage ‘inactive’ Catholics, this group is not the primary audience for this position.

The Diocese of Covington’s Office of Catechesis and Evangelization is adding the new full-time position of Youth Ministry Coordinator, whose primary purpose will be to launch, support, and coordinate vibrant youth ministry programs in our parishes and in our nine high schools. We seek faith-filled, energetic, dynamic candidates with the communication and organizational skills to jump-start this venture and then to shepherd it as it grows and expands. The Youth Ministry Coordinator will be generally responsible for spiritual enrichment, networking, and formation opportunities for youth ministers across the diocese. Other key duties will include regularly corresponding with parish, school, and diocesan university leadership; updating a webpage; utilizing appropriate avenues of social media; and occasionally writing in the diocesan newspaper, the Messenger. Candidates must be actively-practicing Catholics with strong knowledge of the Faith and previous experience in ministry.
