The ideal candidate should be:

  • Energetic and collaborative and have experience in liturgical music within a parish setting to direct and inspire the music ministries of the parish.
  • A person of faith, and possess strong musical talent in a wide range of styles.

The position ranges from 25 to 40 hours per week.

The position requires:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Music or the equivalent in education and experience
  • Professional quality keyboard skills with vocal or choral performance
  • Knowledge of musical instruments; and computer skills to communicate liturgy plans, schedules, and/or
    recordings of music as needed.

St. Vincent de Paul, Dayton District Council, is seeking a part-time Relationship Manager.

Role: 

Reporting to the Director of Mission Advancement, the Relationship Manager establishes relationships with financial donors and prospective financial donors to financially sustain the organization. S/he expands and diversifies the organization’s donor base and will work closely with staff and volunteers. This is a full-time position with demanding goals, requiring flexible scheduling. The Relationship Manager promotes a culture of safety, hospitality, service, honor, and respect among our homeless guests, supportive housing residents, neighbors in need, and volunteers, for the purpose of furthering the vision and mission of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing a strategy of donor prospect cultivation for securing current and deferred financial gifts.
  • Regularly conduct donor visits and solicitations.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors and major donor prospects.
  • Develop donors from identification and cultivation, to solicitation and donation, with an emphasis on establishing annual giving, securing five- and six-figure gifts.
  • Increase membership of, and amount contributed by St. Vincent Partners, Senior Partners and Legacy giving societies.
  • Prepare quarterly dashboard reports offering documentation on the active engagement and solicitation of major gifts.
  • Convey sensitivity and communication skills necessary to tailor messages to various audiences and, in turn, be an effective representative of St. Vincent de Paul and its diverse constituencies.
  • Establish, cultivate, and nurture relationships with individual donors.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in individual charitable estate planning.
  • Secure private foundation funding through maintenance of an assigned grant portfolio. 

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts or Science

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience, ranging from $30,000 to $40,000, with a full range of benefits

Hybrid Workplace:

  • The Relationship Manager will work remotely, on the go, and from our Dayton offices.
