Job Overview:
• Full-time position
• Provide customer service to our students, donors, and volunteers by answering questions, guiding
them to the right person or spot on the website, advising them on class selection
• Answer phones and monitor voicemail replying to calls/messages
• Monitor primary email box answering approx. 20 emails/day; monitor secondary email box
• Monitor Chatbot and answer customer questions, monthly stats reporting
• Work with the CFO performing basic bookkeeping tasks: creating and invoicing customers,
obtaining credit card receipts
• Support CCL store purchases online & phone orders
• Perform and/or support shipping personnel with shipping, inventory, ordering supplies, and
printing shipping inserts
• Support Office Manager in other duties as necessary
• Primary work location Norwood, OH; hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, 30 min. lunch

Ideal Qualities:
• Good communication skills, trustworthy, positive attitude, problem solver
• Phone skills are essential: must be comfortable communicating on the phone, making calls,
returning calls, leaving messages, answering customer questions, or directing them to the proper
staff person; use online phone/voicemail system
• Strong writing skills and Excel experience are highly recommended
• Ability to learn and work in multiple systems at the same time/quickly jump between systems, or
using the systems while talking with a customer
• Ability to multitask and maintain excellent customer service while also looking through systems
• Comfortable working with remote team members, reaching out when you do not know the answer
to something

Due to a planned retirement in early 2023, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington, KY (www.covdio.org) seeks candidates for the position of Executive Director of its Catholic Charities ministry. As Christ “came not to be served, but to serve”, a primary focus of the social mission of the Church is mercy to the poor and the sick, works of charity, and mutual aid intended to relieve human needs of every kind. This is an exciting time in our local Church, and we seek a compassionate servant-leader with the professional expertise to manage, collaborate, and lead. The role of the Executive Director is to ensure clarity and fidelity to the Church’s mission and the Bishop’s vision for the diocese, by providing management and direction to this important human services ministry. A key function of this position involves day-to-day oversight of twelve different areas of service, including: Parish Kitchen, which has operated seven-days-a-week since 1974 and serves up to 150 mid-day meals daily; Mobile Food Pantry, providing 20-40 food items per visit at no cost to eligible residents of five rural counties within diocesan boundaries; Jail and Prison Ministry, which strives to meet the spiritual needs of all who are impacted by the criminal justice process; Counseling, including individual, child, family and marriage, pregnancy, and school-based services; and St. Joseph Supportive Housing, providing housing, assistance, and intensive case management to eligible previously homeless families and individuals. The Executive Director’s role also involves supervision of and/or responsibility for twenty-two staff members and numerous regular and occasional volunteers; ongoing evaluation of current programs as well as potential new initiatives to address unmet needs; coordination and collaboration with other diocesan offices; and representing the Bishop of Covington and Catholic Charities throughout the diocese and the community at-large to develop relationships and support. St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Lima, OH is seeking a full-time Director of Liturgical Music starting January 2023. St. Charles is a thriving parish of 1,400 families and a 400 student school. Established music ministries include Adult Choir, Vocal Quartet, Adult and Youth Handbell Choirs, Adult and Youth Cantors. 

St. Charles has a completely restored Steinway 1915 Model A Grand Piano, a three-manual Rodgers T927 Digital Organ with midi-capability, and a five-octave set of handbells.  

The successful applicant will be skilled on keyboard and vocals and proficient in conducting ensembles. Requirements include the ability to play and sing traditional and contemporary music as well as lead the assembly into full, active, and conscious participation. 

Applicants will need a good working knowledge of the liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church and the ability to plan and coordinate the liturgies of the parish as well as use technology. 

The ability to work well with the parish leadership team and the various liturgical ministers is an essential requirement. A Worship Commission is in place to promote love and care for the liturgy. 

A practicing Catholic and registered member of the Catholic parish faith community is preferred.

The Senior Development Manager is responsible for contributing to the creation of and implementation of the organization’s development strategies. Specifically, this role manages all components of the organization’s gift processing, appeals’ calendar, grant funding, planned giving, and the Charitable Pharmacy’s overall development goals.

The executive director implements policy decisions of the Board of Directors and provides leadership, management and coordination for all activities and operations of the Conference, as authorized by the Board. The position includes representing the Conference in the public arena and overseeing the Conference’s advocacy before the General Assembly and agencies of government. The executive director is responsible for hiring and supervising Conference staff and developing and monitoring the Conference’s budget.  The executive director administers the Board’s initiatives and facilitates interdiocesan programs and activities of certain diocesan offices that meet under the Conference’s auspices. The executive director reports to the Board of Directors and serves as the Board’s executive secretary. The Executive Director should possess a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) in public policy, political science, education, or a related field and preferred, but not required to have experience at a state Catholic conference, diocesan office or agency; experience in legislative affairs, law, or government relations.

The Archdiocese of Indianapolis is seeking a full time Coordinator of Evangelization & Discipleship at our downtown Indianapolis office. This is an onsite role, Monday – Thursday (Fridays off).

The Coordinator of Evangelization & Discipleship provides ministerial leadership, collaboratively, to leaders of various ministries at the parish, cluster, deanery and archdiocesan level in pursuing key evangelization-related goals.

Responsibilities:

This team member provides ministerial leadership for all pastors and parish life coordinators regarding evangelization efforts in parishes.  The Coordinator of Evangelization & Discipleship ministers to the ministers by helping to train parish evangelization teams to go out on mission, reaching those in the pews and those outside the Church walls, including the establishment of an evangelization contact person for each parish.

The Coordinator promotes the use of small discipleship groups in parishes as a way to ensure that the truths of the Gospel are shared and experienced.  Also included in these job responsibilities are establishing programs for use in parish life to reach out in particular ways to those who do not participate in a church community or who seek the fullness of faith.
One additional area of responsibility is directing the Totus Tuus program for the Archdiocese.  All work is done in a supportive team environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to articulate the ministry of evangelization to leaders such that they can implement it in their respective settings.
  • A thorough understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church and the directives of the Magisterium in the area of evangelization.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, especially in the areas of project management, written resource development and financial management.

Education, Training and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in theology or a related field is required.  A master’s degree in one of these fields is preferred.
  • Experience with substantial written project completion and implementation is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in evangelization, parish ministry and/or teaching is required.
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred.
