Campus Minster (full-time) St. Francis of Assisi / Muncie Pastorate Muncie, IN The Muncie Catholic Pastorate is searching for a Full Time Campus Minister that is a spirit-centered, enthusiastic individual to lead its Catholic campus ministry at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, which serves the students and faculty of Ball State University. We are looking for a person who has a clear call to campus and young adult ministry. The candidate should have the ability to develop and implement a plan for campus ministry, including faith formation, facilitating retreats and spiritual programming, recruiting student leaders, event planning, budget management, leading our resident intern program, and more. The ideal candidate will create an environment where St. Francis Parish becomes home to the spiritual and intellectual lives, apostolic mission, and Christian maturity of students.

The Campus Minister is a Full Time position with a complete Benefit Package that includes Health, Dental and Vision; 403b Retirement; and paid vacation, holidays and personal days. The position will collaborate with all pastorate staff, particularly the Pastor, parochial vicars, Focus missionaries, and the Director of Evangelization, Family Life, and Pastoral Ministries.

The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic, committed to prayer and a desire to know God, who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Catholic Theology/Religious Studies or equivalent. The candidate should have a strong desire and ability to evangelize young adults. This candidate will also have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and administrative skills. The applicant must be able to adapt to a flexible schedule (frequent evenings and weekends) while also holding regular office hours during the week. The ability to pass and maintain diocesan child safety protocol is essential.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is seeking a full-time Social Services Advocate.

Scope of Position:

The Social Services Advocate is the primary contact person for those requesting social services at the Neyer Outreach Center.  Engagement, assessment, eligibility determination, gathering documentation and service delivery are primary functions.  Engaging neighbors to develop a holistic plan that incorporates assistance from SVDP with resources available through other agencies or individuals in order to address their needs is another critical function.  The team member must be able to: 1) build relationships with neighbors in need, using a strengths-based approach to help them recognize and utilize their personal strengths and resources; 2) promote systemic change; and 3) adhere to SVDP’s policies and procedures to ensure program sustainability.  This team member must consistently model the mission and values of St. Vincent de Paul.

 Job Responsibilities:

  1. Engage neighbors seeking assistance, either by walk in or appointment, to holistically assess overall situation, eligibility for assistance and provide appropriate SVDP assistance and referrals, as necessary
  2. Assess and respond, as necessary, to needs of neighbors presenting critical situations at any time during business hours
  3. Participate as a member of the SVDP Social Services team as well as positively interacting with volunteers and other SVDP staff
  4. Prepare case notes, develop and maintain files, and enter required neighbor related data accurately into our electronic case management system
  5. Participate in selection process used to identify requests for rent and utility assistance to receive funding
  6. Maintain awareness of primary community resources available to address needs presented by neighbors as well as the process for accessing them
  7. Assist Call Center with harvesting and returning calls to neighbors
  8. Lead/participate in special projects as required
  9. Typical hours are Monday – Friday 8-4:30, with occasional Saturday hours
  10. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

High school diploma required; college degree is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related fields preferred. Bilingual (Spanish speaking) abilities are a plus. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate well orally and in writing; commitment to detail and documentation; project management skills; ability to work under pressure; and a comfort in engaging with people of different cultural and economic backgrounds in a faith-based setting are necessary.

Work Environment:  Office Environment – Adequately lighted, heated and ventilated.

 Physical Requirements:  Job duties can primarily be performed from a desk; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items up to 35 lbs; driving an automobile.

Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati is seeking a full-time Development Director.

The Cincinnati Right to Life Development Director’s primary role is to build relationships with our donors and constituents. The Development Director will execute all fundraising events and initiatives, collaboratively manage donor relations, write grants, seek new ways to increase income and reduce expenditures, collaborate on various marketing efforts, and contribute to the organization’s website and social media accounts as needed. The Development Director should define both long-term and short-term fundraising strategies under the direction of the Executive Director. The Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford seeks an Associate Director of Youth Ministry to assist the Director with the preparation and implementation of all facets of youth retreats. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the youth ministry program; planning, preparing, staffing and facilitating retreats and programs; and working collaboratively with campus ministers, teachers, pastoral associates and principals. Must excel in large group facilitation and communication. This position does require evening and weekend work. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.

The Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford seeks a Director of Ignite Internship to work in collaboration with the Director of Youth Ministry in developing, recruiting, mentoring, coaching, and supporting the Ignite Interns. Ignite interns are college graduates who work with the Youth Ministry team as they develop their skills in retreat ministry.

The Director of Ignite Internship also collaborates with the youth ministry team planning, preparing and directing retreat programs. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
