St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, a parish of 3,300 families, has an opening for the part-time position of Worship Assistant.

As a lay ecclesial minister and assistant to the Director of Worship and Sacraments, the individual in this role helps with the day-to-day operations of the department, provides direct support to the liturgical ministry coordinators, and shares various responsibilities with the Director in the planning and celebrating of the liturgical seasons.

Before starting the position, the applicant must be fingerprinted, complete a background check, and be enrolled and/or current with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati SafeParish child protection training.

The Community of the Good Shepherd, located at 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249, is looking for a part-time Audio-Visual Coordinator. The person in this position will be responsible for operating the computer and video projector equipment which shows the Sunday Communion meditation, as well as recording special events/programs, and Masses. The person in this role will assist with the live streaming of the morning Masses and funerals as needed, perform routine maintenance tasks on the electronic equipment, maintain/archive meditations, back up computer files, and serve as the staff liaison to the audio-visual ministry.

The person in this position must know or be able to learn how to use a variety of projection software programs and any other software that is purchased and used during each of the Masses or special events/programs.

This is a 20–25-hour weekly position requiring weekends, weekday mornings, afternoons, and some evening hours. There is flexibility with the schedule.

The Stella Maris Family of Parishes is seeking a Coordinator of Youth Ministry. The coordinator of youth ministry will be responsible for offering leadership and discipleship programming in each of the parochial schools that are part of Stella Maris. The coordinator will also recruit and form adult and high school volunteers as a team of missionary disciples who will carry out the IGNITE Confirmation Formation program. Finally, the coordinator will develop and execute content, curriculum, and programs for jr. high and high school teens.

The Holy Spirit Family of Parishes is seeking a musician to play the piano and/or organ at Our Lady of Mercy and Queen of Martyrs locations for Saturday 4:30 pm, Sunday 9:00 am and 11:00 am Masses respectively. We are flexible with the time if you can do only one or two Masses.

This is a part-time position with 12 hours a week, including one day’s rehearsal at each location (excluding Holidays of obligation, Christmas, and Easter). Reports to the Coordinator of Worship.

The Musician will foster the active participation of the liturgical assembly in singing; coordinate the preparation of music to be sung at various liturgical celebrations; and promote the ministries of choirs, psalmists, cantors, organists, and all who play instruments that serve the Liturgy. Additional responsibilities include keeping the choir areas and music office in good order, arranging to keep the piano and organ in good working order, and working with the business manager to administer the annual budget (to include purchasing music, paying copyright fees, and securing permissions).

This is a part-time position with 6 hours a week, including one day’s rehearsal at each location (excluding Holidays of obligation, Christmas, and Easter). Reports to the Coordinator of Worship

Our Lady of Light Family of Parishes is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance / Custodial Technician is responsible for custodial services, general maintenance, and preventative maintenance to ensure parish buildings and grounds remain safe, clean, and operational. This role supports parish operations by maintaining facilities, responding to maintenance requests, assisting with event setups, and ensuring the proper functioning of building systems.

Location:  Church of the Incarnation and St. Francis of Assisi campuses.
