Saint Francis of Assisi, Centerville Ohio, is a growing parish with talented and energetic volunteers and staff serving approximately 2000 families. We are seeking a Director of Parish Evangelization. This position is full-time with a regular but flexible schedule, working 40+ hours per week. The role of this position is to serve as a member of (and oversee) a pastoral team responsible for catechetical programs and evangelization efforts at St. Francis of Assisi Church. The definitive aim of such catechesis is to put people not only in touch, but in communion and intimacy with Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to Equip parishioners to encounter Jesus Christ through a lifelong process that encourages them to become missionary disciples in the world. The Director is a person who is a fully initiated and practicing member of the Catholic Church. The person in this role will provide secretarial and related office services, act as a minister of hospitality to the parish, and support the Worship and Sacraments staff.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Professionally and courteously handle office communications – phone, mail, email, etc.
  • Perform administrative duties, including scheduling and purchasing
  • Maintain sacramental recordkeeping for the parish

The Church of the Incarnation in Centerville, Ohio, is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.

The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry will expand the current high school youth ministry program and will develop and initiate a young adult ministry. Candidates for this position should be self-starters who are strong in their faith and able to invite and excite young people to develop and grow in their relationship with Jesus and his Church.

This position is being expanded to focus on high school youth through young adults to age 35.

This role involves organizing various fundraising campaigns and activities for Incarnation church and school, as well as large-scale fundraising initiatives, working with parish members, developing an annual fund and building relationships with donors, staff and volunteers. The development director will also implement major giving and planned giving fundraising strategies. They should have an established background in coordinating nonprofit donation strategies and staff/volunteer leadership.
