Seeking a dynamic and devout Catholic to spearhead evangelization efforts among existing parishioners and to market the Faith and our Family of Parishes in Lebanon, Morrow and the surrounding areas in Warren County, Ohio. We have a vibrant parish, which includes five days of around the clock eucharistic adoration, roughly 30 people currently enrolled in RCIA (with 22 having entered the Church here last Easter), and a beautiful new parish office and meeting space scheduled to open next month in Lebanon. The potential exists to really grow!

The Director\Coordinator of Parish Evangelization will work closely with the Pastor and the Coordinator of Religious Education, with a focus on adult catechesis and formation. Candidates should be highly creative with excellent writing and public speaking skills, and comfortable sharing their faith. Previous experience helpful. Marketing and\or Theology background preferred. Because there is a small but growing Hispanic community, Spanish language skills would be a plus.

Music is an integral part of our Catholic worship and liturgies.  Based out of St. Albert Church, a part of the Family of Parishes of the Kettering Catholic Community (Ascension, St. Albert and St. Charles), we seek a gifted and talented Director of Music.

Responsibilities include the overall implementation of music ministries at the St. Albert facilities.  The director plans and provides music for weekend Masses, major feasts and weddings/funerals.  The director also coordinates choir and cantor ministries.  All work is done in conjunction with applicable Church guidelines and documents.

The director will be a key member of the parish staff.  The musicians based at the other Family of Parish locations have been in consultation with each another looking forward to the opportunities and possibilities of our future together.  Candidate should be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.  Experience in a parish is a plus.  Position is currently full-time.  Full-time employees receive a competitive compensation program and full benefits. Position could be part-time depending on the needs of both the parish location and the candidate.

Primary Functions: The Director manages the Development Program for St. Leo Church and Food Pantry and St. Boniface Church and School and collaborates with the Pastor, Principal, Business Manager and staff to secure funding for necessary programming and development of services provided by each institution. The Director of Development fulfills the mission of the churches, food pantry and school by planning, guiding, and evaluating the development efforts of the churches, food pantry and school in fundraising, marketing, event planning, grant writing, relationship building, and communication. The Director is to have a passion to promote the churches, food pantry, and school with a strong focus on results through effective oral and written communications skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Knowledge of a broad range of development activities including, but not limited to, grant writing, special events, fund appeals, planned giving, major gifts and capital fund development.
  • Develop an annual strategic fundraising and related communications plan in conjunction with parish and school leadership
  • Responsible for overall communication with the public in regard to fundraising and marketing of the programs
    • Annual reports
    • Donor base
    • Holiday and special event greetings and notifications
  • Creates a donor cultivation plan and maintains the donor database
  • Coordinates visits and meetings between parish and school leadership with potential major donors
  • Seeks and executes the composition of grants to support the outreach and services provided by each institution
  • Responsible for the integrity of St. Boniface and St. Leo branding and marketing including the social media platforms
  • Creates and implements an alumni relations program
  • Organize events to showcase the school and parishes
  • Develop local business relationships to support programming of the school and parishes
  • Coordinate the various parish festivals and develop new sponsorship relationships for each festival

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to effectively manage numerous projects simultaneously and work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3-5 years experience
  • Knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic church is helpful, but not required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, exceptional organizational, record-keeping skills, computer skills necessary to manage parish system
  • Must have good facilitation skills and the ability to manage a team of people set to task while presenting oneself professionally
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must have ability to prioritize and to be flexible

St. Veronica Church, Cincinnati, Ohio seeks a full-time, Exempt, Business Manager who works collaboratively with the parish and school staffs.  St. Veronica is in the Family of Parishes with St. Andrew Church and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, both in Milford, Ohio (Family #7 in the St. Mary Deanery).  The Business Manager is a steward of the physical, financial and personnel resources of the parish.  Currently the Business Manger reports directly to the pastor; as the three parishes continue to organize this person will report directly to a Family of Parishes Administrator.
