St. John St. Saviour Parishes in Deer Park, Ohio is seeking candidates to fill the position of Director of Parish Music.

Candidates must be proficient in organ and piano, able to sing, and have a good knowledge of the musical tradition of the Catholic Church. The Music Director is responsible for playing at all parish liturgies, directing parish choirs and cantors at Mass as well as other liturgies as needed.  The Music Director attends staff and planning meetings, is a member of the parish Worship Committee and reports to the pastor. Position may be either part time or full time.

Start date is July 1st 2022. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

St. Thomas More Catholic Church is seeking a Director of Liturgical Music to lead the music program for the parish helping the worshipping community to pray by supporting liturgies with vibrant and inspirational music.

Candidate for this position should be proficient in organ and piano, be able to sight read music and have suitable vocal skills. Candidate should be passionate about the church’s liturgical tradition as well as today’s current practice. This candidate will be a staff member, attend staff meetings and work collaboratively with pastoral staff.

The Coordinator of Music Ministry plans and leads music at three weekend Masses, Saturday 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., school Masses, funeral Masses, all Holy Day Masses and special liturgies and events as needed. Providing music at weddings and funerals is additional compensation.

Responsibilities include directing and rehearsing choirs and volunteer musicians, file and maintain music records, coordinate music ministry bulletin communications, care for musical equipment and the operation of sound equipment.

This candidate should have the ability to cultivate and recruit volunteers for participation in the Music Ministry program both choir and musicians.

Candidates must pass a background, reference and criminal check & child protection training.

St. Francis Xavier Church in Downtown Cincinnati is looking for a passionate, Catholic communications professional to serve as the new Marketing & Communications Director and work closely with the pastor, office manager, parish staff, and volunteers to create digital and print communications that keep our parish community connected and thriving.

Duties include working with the Pastor to build communications plans for St. Xavier Church, giving input on what to communicate, what new or existing channels to prioritize, and bring new ideas and constructive criticism to the table.

The Parish Family of St. Francis De Sales and St. Philip the Apostle is accepting applications for Director/Coordinator of Faith Formation.

This position will be responsible for the administration of catechetical and evangelization programs for the combined parish family, seeking to engage both youth and adults. Responsibilities will include oversight of youth parish religious education program (PREP) and RCIA.

The ideal candidate must be a practicing Catholic with sound knowledge of the Catholic Faith and Church teaching along with a desire to form missionary disciples and engage the larger community. A college degree is required, a Theology major or a graduate of LPMP or comparable pastoral program is preferred.

This is a full-time, exempt position and will involve weekend and some evening hours. A more detailed job description is available on request.

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Dayton, OH is now accepting resumes for two full-time custodian positions.

First shift hours of 8:00 am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Primary responsibility will be performing day to day cleaning requirements of an elementary school building and assisting with ground maintenance.

Second shift for the hours of 2:00 pm-10:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities will include scheduled cleaning in both school and church buildings, room set up & tear down for activities in church lower level, assisting with ground maintenance and church building lock up.

General list of responsibilities: school cafeteria cleaning, floor maintenance, cleaning & stocking of restrooms, trash removal from buildings, room set up/tear down/reset for room activities and meetings, assisting with lawn care (mowing, edging, trimming) & snow removal.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
