St. John the Baptist Parish in Tipp City, OH is seeking a part-time Maintenance Supervisor.

This position requires knowledge to perform minor to moderate repair of dry wall, electrical, plumbing both indoor and outdoor as needed; attend to water heaters and HVAC units; works with vendors as needed; performs other tasks as directed; oversees janitor and works with office personnel to prepare for banquets, holidays, funerals etc.; housekeeping tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fuses and janitorial work may be required; order supplies and tools; work with entry and fire systems as needed.

Hours and pay are flexible.

 

St. Francis Xavier Church is looking for a passionate, full-time Catholic communications professional to serve as the new Marketing & Communications Specialist and work closely with the pastor, office manager, parish staff, and volunteers to create digital and print communications that keep our parish community connected and thriving.

The Communications Specialist will work with the Pastor to build communications plans for St. Xavier Church, giving input on what to communicate, what new or existing channels to prioritize, and bring new ideas and constructive criticism to the table.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage content on social media, website, weekly newsletter, and bulletins to ensure an accurate, creative, and consistent tone, look, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with the office manager, parish staff, and ministries to engage various church groups and publicize events.

St. Michael Parish and School is seeking a full-time Director of Communications.

The Director of Communication is responsible for the parish’s overall strategic plan for internal and external communications.  The Director will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of parish and school communication via email, social media (Facebook and Instagram primarily), website, parish app, weekly bulletin, and quarterly newsletter.   Particular attention will be necessary to the implementation of our Family of Parishes over the next several years; collaboration will be necessary with the staff of the other parishes.  The Director will work with our parish and school staff to create an effective overall presentation of the Gospel message in a way that will help draw the faithful and others into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.  It is preferred (though not absolutely necessary) that candidates be Roman Catholic, along with being familiar with parish life.

St. Columban Catholic Church in Loveland seeks to hire a full-time Bookkeeper.  The Bookkeeper provides the day-to-day fiscal and operational support, computer input/output service for the parish and school.  Duties include but are not limited to:  recording and processing deposits, checks, payroll, tuition and management of the general ledger.   The position includes full health and retirement benefits.  Two years’ experience in bookkeeping required.   Candidates must have Excel® experience, proficient keyboarding skills, ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters, and the ability to relate to a variety of persons.  Familiarity with Parish Soft software a plus.  The position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
