· Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners

· Design and implement labs, demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences

· Assess and evaluate student progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback

· Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary initiatives and professional learning communities

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science, Science Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

· Current license to teach 7-12 Biology in the state of Ohio

· Experience teaching Biology at the high school level, including the confidence and willingness to teach high level sciences

· Commitment to Catholic education and the spiritual development of students

· Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills

· Willingness to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities

· Experience teaching in an all-girls or faith-based school environment

· Familiarity with NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards)

· Background in inquiry-based and project-based learning approaches
