Grades 9-12: Strength & Conditioning Coach/Part-Time: Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School seeks a part-time (15-20 hours/week) Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead and develop training programs for all athletic teams, enhancing performance, reducing injuries, and promoting lifelong fitness in alignment with CJ’s mission to develop the whole person – mind, body, and spirit.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing sport-specific strength and conditioning programs; overseeing daily weight room activities and ensuring proper technique and athletic safety; collaborating with coaches and athletic trainers to support athlete development and recovery; educating student-athletes on nutrition, wellness, and injury prevention; maintaining and organizing equipment and training spaces; reporting directly to the Athletic Department; and maintaining general liability insurance.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field; current CPR/AED certification; national certification preferred (NSCA-CSCS, NASM-PES, or CSCCA); current Pupil Activity Permit and Archdiocese of Cincinnati SafeParish certification; prior experience with high school or collegiate athletes preferred; and the ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion.
