The Head Baseball Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Bishop Fenwick High School baseball program. The ideal candidate will be a strong educator and mentor who models Catholic values, teaches the game, and creates a positive, growth-oriented experience for student-athletes. This role demands leadership on and off the field, strong communication with players and families, and alignment with the school’s mission and coaching standards.

Essential Responsibilities:
– Develop and lead a baseball program that fosters athletic skill, sportsmanship, discipline and respect.
– Instruct student-athletes in the fundamentals and strategies of baseball with an emphasis on safety, personal growth, and team development.
– Serve as a role model of Catholic values and Christian leadership, both on and off the field.
– Communicate effectively and consistently with student-athletes, parents, and school administration.
– Organize and lead preseason parent meetings to establish expectations, team culture, and communication protocols.
– Maintain consistent discipline aligned with school and athletic department policies.
– Plan and conduct safe, well-structured practices and training sessions that respect the balance of competitiveness and fun appropriate to high school students.
– Ensure compliance with OHSAA regulations, including eligibility, offseason contact rules, and competition guidelines.
– Uphold Bishop Fenwick’s standards of punctuality, professionalism, appropriate dress, and constructive coaching at all practices, games, and meetings.
– Recruit and manage assistant coaches in alignment with the school’s mission and coaching philosophy.
– Promote and encourage academic excellence, spiritual development, and character formation in all players.
– Coordinate with the Athletic Director regarding scheduling, facilities, transportation, equipment, and program needs.
– Be accountable for the program’s budget, branding standards, and administrative responsibilities.
– Provide feedback to athletes during and after tryouts, including constructive evaluations for those not selected.

Qualifications:
– Prior high school or college coaching experience (Head Coach experience preferred).
– Demonstrated commitment to the mission of Catholic education and familiarity with the values of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
– Demonstrated a strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
– Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
– Ability to serve as a faith-filled mentor and leader for student-athletes.
– Must pass all background checks and meet SafeParish and Archdiocese of Cincinnati training requirements.
– OHSAA Coaching certifications (or willingness to obtain before season).

Grades 9-12: Intervention Specialist/Full-Time: Saint Ursula Academy, located in East Walnut Hills, is a Catholic, college-preparatory, secondary school for young women, started by the Ursuline Sisters of Cincinnati.

Saint Ursula Academy is searching for a highly organized individual to serve as a full-time Intervention Specialist for our renowned Educational Services program.  This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists.  This position will collaborate with other department members and classroom faculty to provide targeted academic support tailored to high-achieving students with learning differences or disabilities.  In addition, this position will also assist in providing academic support for students whose plans call for individualized instruction.  This person will also be responsible for monitoring student progress, collecting data, and adjusting interventions based on outcomes.  The Intervention Specialist will serve as a liaison between general education, teachers, students, and families to ensure appropriate accommodations and support services are in place and facilitate IEP meetings and ensure compliance with federal and state special education laws.  The ideal candidate will be collaborative, an effective communicator, and adaptable to last-minute changes in routines and schedules while contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture that challenges and supports advanced learners with diverse needs.

Overview:  The office of the Principal has as its primary purpose to provide leadership and expertise to achieve the fullest attainment of the mission and vision of McNicholas High School.  The Principal is the leader of the academic affairs of the school.  The Principal leads the curriculum design and implementation, delivery of instruction, integration of technology, and coordination of programs of professional development.  With the President of the school, the Principal has operational responsibility of the traditions of Catholic Christianity faith and learning within the school.  Administrative tasks include: organization of the school so that appropriate learning can take place, development of a competent faculty with supportive staff, and the development and implementation of a balanced curriculum.  This is performed in collaboration with the administrative team.  Constant communication, cooperation, and teamwork, with the President of McNicholas High School is a necessity.

Qualifications and Experience:  The Principal must be a practicing Catholic in good standing at their parish.  The Principal must be certified and have a valid license for secondary school administration.  Also, must have a minimum of 4 of years of high school administration and teaching experience (preferably in a core academic subject).

 Skills: The Principal’s personal assets should include: warmth, empathy, and excellent communication skills.  Must be humble, yet strong, open but principled, having great kindness. In addition, this person will also assist the team with evaluating and identifying prospects for the school’s fundraising efforts.  The school currently uses Bloomerang for donor management.  This position requires excellent communications skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.  The Administrative Assistant for Advancement must be proficient with Windows, Microsoft office products, Google documents and donor management and other fundraising software tools.

A High school diploma, or equivalent, is required.   In addition, 2-5 years experience in database management, including entry, building queries, creating and generating reports from a relational database is required.  Bachelor’s Degree and prior work in the Advancement field is preferred.
