Mission:
At Bishop Fenwick High School, our mission is to form students of faith, integrity, compassion, and service. Rooted in the Gospel and centered on Christ and the Eucharist, the Director of Campus Ministry leads the spiritual life of the school, inspiring students and faculty to grow in their faith and embrace a life of discipleship.

Position Summary:
The Director of Campus Ministry is a key member of the school’s administrative leadership team and is responsible for the oversight, vision, and execution of all aspects of spiritual life and faith formation outside of the classroom. This includes leading retreats, overseeing liturgies and service initiatives, student discipleship, and faculty/staff faith formation. The director works closely with students, families, faculty, and staff to cultivate a campus culture grounded in Catholic identity and joyfully centered on Christ.

Key Responsibilities:

Retreats:

  • Design and implement a holistic faith formation strategy that encourages spiritual progression across the high school years. Create and maintain a retreat framework aligned with the school’s Catholic identity and developmental needs of students.
  • Plan, lead, and execute annual retreats for all grade levels that foster spiritual growth.
  • Build intentional and authentic opportunities for personal reflection and gratitude both within the retreat experiences and at other appropriate times.
  • Evaluate existing retreats and make improvements on programs to be more Christ centered and impactful
  • Provide post-retreat follow-up opportunities and spiritual accompaniment for students.
  • Oversee retreat budget, transportation, and supplies.

Spiritual Formation:

  • Recruit and form student retreat leaders to minister to peers with authenticity, compassion, and empathy.
  • Create faith formation opportunities for students, offer mentorship, 2 yearly retreats, and business meetings with the student ministry team.
  • Oversee all subcommittees for student ministry: events, social media, breakfast club, flock block, and underclassmen outreach. Continuously evaluate committee structure for possible improvements.

Supervision & Collaboration:

  • Supervise the Campus Minister/Service & Liturgy Coordinator and support their work in planning liturgies, service opportunities, and student ministry initiatives.
  • Manage the Campus Ministry budget with fiscal responsibility and transparency.
  • Collaborate with school administration, theology department, and student ministry team to align faith formation with overall school mission and culture.

Faculty & Staff Faith Formation:

  • Plan and coordinate meaningful and on-going faith formation opportunities for faculty and staff.
  • Lead an annual faculty/staff retreat, either organized by campus ministry or an approved outside group, to foster spiritual renewal and professional community.
  • Serve as a resource and pastoral presence for faculty and staff, encouraging a shared commitment to the school’s Catholic identity.

Student Leadership & Discipleship:

  • Oversee the Faith Flock program and curriculum to ensure theological depth and spiritual relevance.
  • Lead the Student Ministry Team, offering leadership training and mentorship.
  • Build authentic relationships with students and support them in exploring and living out their faith.
  • Provide a compassionate, listening presence to students and refer when appropriate for further pastoral or counseling support.
  • Oversee Students for Life Club

Marketing & Communications:

  • Serve as the primary representative of Campus Ministry in public relations efforts.
  • Manage the Campus Ministry Instagram account to communicate and celebrate the spiritual life of the school.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to produce weekly “Fenwick Features” and update relevant web content.
  • Represent Campus Ministry at admissions events, family engagement nights, and alumni functions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church who joyfully witnesses to the faith in both personal and professional life.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Education, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Catholic school or parish ministry, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate meaningfully to high school students and their families.
  • Strong theological foundation, prayer life, and familiarity with Catholic liturgy, sacraments, and spiritual traditions.
  • Comfort with public speaking, digital communications, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborative leadership style with an ability to inspire and form both students and adults.

Reports To: Athletic Director

The Head Baseball Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Bishop Fenwick High School baseball program. The ideal candidate will be a strong educator and mentor who models Catholic values, teaches the game, and creates a positive, growth-oriented experience for student-athletes. This role demands leadership on and off the field, strong communication with players and families, and alignment with the school’s mission and coaching standards.

Essential Responsibilities:
– Develop and lead a baseball program that fosters athletic skill, sportsmanship, discipline and respect.
– Instruct student-athletes in the fundamentals and strategies of baseball with an emphasis on safety, personal growth, and team development.
– Serve as a role model of Catholic values and Christian leadership, both on and off the field.
– Communicate effectively and consistently with student-athletes, parents, and school administration.
– Organize and lead preseason parent meetings to establish expectations, team culture, and communication protocols.
– Maintain consistent discipline aligned with school and athletic department policies.
– Plan and conduct safe, well-structured practices and training sessions that respect the balance of competitiveness and fun appropriate to high school students.
– Ensure compliance with OHSAA regulations, including eligibility, offseason contact rules, and competition guidelines.
– Uphold Bishop Fenwick’s standards of punctuality, professionalism, appropriate dress, and constructive coaching at all practices, games, and meetings.
– Recruit and manage assistant coaches in alignment with the school’s mission and coaching philosophy.
– Promote and encourage academic excellence, spiritual development, and character formation in all players.
– Coordinate with the Athletic Director regarding scheduling, facilities, transportation, equipment, and program needs.
– Be accountable for the program’s budget, branding standards, and administrative responsibilities.
– Provide feedback to athletes during and after tryouts, including constructive evaluations for those not selected.

Qualifications:
– Prior high school or college coaching experience (Head Coach experience preferred).
– Demonstrated commitment to the mission of Catholic education and familiarity with the values of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
– Demonstrated a strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
– Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
– Ability to serve as a faith-filled mentor and leader for student-athletes.
– Must pass all background checks and meet SafeParish and Archdiocese of Cincinnati training requirements.
– OHSAA Coaching certifications (or willingness to obtain before season).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize a variety of during- and after-school service-learning programs and experiences for students.
  • Lead and coordinate faith-based reflections of service programs to enhance student understanding and experiences of community service.

  • Ensure timely completion and reporting of required student involvement in community service experiences.
  • Support all Campus Ministry activities, including retreats, liturgies, prayer services, faith sharing groups, and more.

The Annual Fund is an integral part of the overall fundraising program for MND, providing vital budget support for the school through unrestricted annual gifts.

The Annual Giving Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversight in managing a multi-channel solicitation program that includes leadership level annual giving, reunion class giving, volunteer management, digital fundraising, social media, phone-a-thon, and segmented direct mail to solicit parents, alumnae, alumnae parents, faculty/staff, grandparents and friends. This includes developing strategies to increase donor participation and revenue, managing donor relations, and working closely with other team members to achieve fundraising goals.
