Grades 9-12: Math Teacher/Full-Time: Roger Bacon High School, a Catholic Franciscan high school committed to academic excellence and holistic student development, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will teach Algebra I, Algebra II, and Statistics, with the ability to teach AP Statistics being a highly desirable plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons in Algebra I, Algebra II, and Statistics that align with state and school curriculum standards.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and ensure student mastery of mathematical concepts.
  • Develop and administer assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Incorporate technology, project-based learning, and real-world applications into lessons to enhance student understanding.
  • Maintain an organized, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Math Department to ensure consistency and innovation in curriculum delivery.
  • Provide students with academic support through tutoring, office hours, or intervention strategies as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and administration regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
  • Uphold the mission, values, and Catholic Franciscan traditions of Roger Bacon High School.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Valid Ohio teaching license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Experience teaching high school math, particularly Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Statistics.
  • Experience or certification in AP Statistics is highly preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Commitment to fostering students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administration.
  • Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities, mentoring, or coaching is a plus.

Position Overview:
Roger Bacon High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Theology Teacher who will also serve as a Ministry Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for teaching theology courses and providing spiritual leadership through campus ministry initiatives. The ideal candidate will be committed to Catholic education, Franciscan spirituality, and student formation in faith.

Responsibilities:
Teaching Responsibilities:

·       Teach theology courses across various grade levels, integrating Catholic doctrine, scripture, and ethical teachings.
