School Counselor

La Salle High School is a vibrant all-male Catholic school on the western side of Cincinnati following the Lasallian tradition prescribed by St. John the Baptiste de La Salle.  We are conducting a search for a full-time school counselor for the 2025-2026 school year. The School Counselor’s primary role is to support students with any barriers hindering their progress as they work towards completing their high school education towards college and career readiness. This position will collaborate and consult with the counseling team, teachers, administrators, and other school personnel in providing them with strategies, support, and resources that will contribute to the student’s success.  The ideal candidate will help meet the needs of all students by facilitating their academic, personal/social, and career development as well as helping create a positive and safe learning experience. At the same time, the School Counselor will assist students as they face issues and resolve problems that prevent their healthy development.

Intervention Specialist – Full-Time Position 2026-2027 School Year

Purcell Marian seeks applicants for: Full-Time Intervention Specialist 

Candidates must be zealous in mission, passionate for ensuring student achievement, and aspire to be dedicated members of the Purcell Marian family. Candidates must also hold a valid Intervention Specialist (Mild to Moderate) License. Teachers will receive training on the IB approach to teaching.

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

La Salle High School is seeking a Dean of Academics for the 2026–27 school year. The Dean of Academics serves as a key leader in advancing the Lasallian mission by ensuring a rigorous, relevant, and student-centered academic experience. Through collaborative leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to excellence, the Dean oversees curriculum, instruction, faculty development, and academic systems that support the holistic formation of young men. This role works closely with faculty, staff, students, and families to promote high expectations, personalized learning, and continuous improvement—guiding students in their growth as scholars, leaders, and men of character within the Lasallian community.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of the administrative leadership team, advancing the Catholic and Lasallian mission while modeling the school’s core values and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and brotherhood.
  • Provide vision and leadership for the academic program, including curriculum design, instructional practices, and assessment systems that promote high levels of student achievement and engagement.
  • Develop and implement long-term academic planning, including course pathways (college-prep, honors, CCP, and CTE) aligned with student needs, college readiness, and career opportunities.
  • Oversee and support faculty through coaching, evaluation, and professional development, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and instructional innovation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required in Curriculum and Instruction or Administration
  • Valid (or eligible) Ohio administrative license/certification
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in education; prior leadership experience and work in curriculum preferred
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional best practices, and assessment
  • Experience with faculty supervision, coaching, and evaluation preferred
  • Ability to analyze data and lead strategic academic initiatives
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and lead in a dynamic school environment
  • Commitment to fostering a rigorous, supportive, and mission-centered academic culture
  • Completion of Safe Parish
  • Catholic preferred
