Immediate opening for a full-time Young Adult Minister for a well-established parish ministry serving 18-35 year old young adults using the “Win, Build, Send” model. This involves a lot of social, recreational, and weekend activities (bonfires, bible studies, volleyball, camping, swing dances, holy hours, brunches, liturgies, hayrides, mission trips, etc.). Accountability:
The English teacher reports to, is supervised and evaluated by the Principal.
Essential Functions:
▪ Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classroom(s).
▪ Implement regular routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
▪ Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
▪ Attend all faculty/staff meetings as scheduled.
▪ Report any student injuries, illness, and serious and discipline problems to school
administration.
▪ Perform other duties as directed by the school administration.
Required Education & Qualifications:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in English and/or Education; master’s degree preferred.
▪ Proficient knowledge of content area and curriculum.
▪ Ohio teaching license.
▪ Completion of background check and Safe Parish training.
▪ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
