Our Lady of Hope Parish Family (C3) is in search of a faith-filled, vibrant and welcoming person to be Coordinator of Evangelization and Catechesis, assisting with both adult and youth faith formation within our family of parishes.

Primary responsibilities will be to serve as lead catechist and process coordinator for OCIA and OCIC, helping prepare adults and youths to enter the Church at Easter and other points throughout the year. Most OCIA classes for adults and high school youth will meet one night per week from August through Pentecost, and on Sundays during Lent, although individualized catechesis may be necessary at other times during the week.  This position will also lead the OCIC process and catechesis for youths 8 to 14 years old. The Coordinator will be expected to maintain extended relationships with newly initiated Catholics and support/accompany them as they continue to grow in their faith.  Additional responsibilities may include participation on the staff evangelization team, exploring opportunities and methods to engage and form parishioners. The ideal candidate shall have had formal post-high school faith formation, (preferably a Bachelor’s degree or certificate in a field such as Theology, Catechetics and Evangelization, or Pastoral Ministry) and/or experience in the missionary field or parish pastoral work.  The candidate should be proficient with office computer applications, as frequent electronic communication and Sacramental record keeping are required.

The Coordinator of Evangelization and Catechesis will report directly to the Director of Evangelization as well as have a functional relationship with the Director of Youth Evangelization.

Executive Summary

Archbishop Moeller is an all-male, Catholic high school (grades 9-12) located in Cincinnati, OH. Founded by the Marianist order of Priests and Brothers, Moeller is a Catholic high school in the Marianist tradition. Moeller strives to educate all students, regardless of ability, in Mind, Body, and Spirit within a Community of Brothers. Moeller is nationally recognized for their House System and continues to be a leader in the integration of technology, celebrating over 20 years as a one-to-one tablet school. Moeller offers a comprehensive, college preparatory curriculum which includes over 30 Advanced Placement/College Credit Plus courses, as well as courses in visual and performing arts, world language, business, and information technology.

Moeller is seeking a full-time Physics Teacher to join our dynamic, dedicated, and collaborative faculty. Starting in August 2025, the successful candidate will teach five sections of college preparatory Physics.

Selected Duties

  • Develop interactive, intellectually engaging lessons and laboratory experiences in alignment with curricular and student goals.
  • Analyze assessment data to monitor teaching strategies in relation to student success. Collaborate and assist intervention specialists in providing differentiated instruction per students’ IEP/SP.
  • Provide substantive and timely feedback to student and parents on academic progress via our Learner Management System: MoeCampus.
  • Integrate technological tools to support effective instruction in alignment with ISTE standards.
  • Participate in departmental Professional Learning Communities and attend educational conferences/workshops to maintain and improve content, pedagogical and/or technological knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Candidates will possess at least a Bachelor’s degree and hold an Ohio Teacher Certification (or be license eligible) as an Integrated Science teacher 7-12 or Physical Science teacher 7-12.
  • Candidates with an engineering background would also be eligible for a teaching license, which Moeller will help navigate.
  • Ideal candidates will be dynamic, personable, energetic individuals who work well with high school students and their families and will be able to help foster the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth of each student. Compensation, Benefits and Hiring

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
